I can't even REMEMBER last time I had a log... :) So I'm starting one. Hopefully this won't cause me to be even MORE of a schedule freak than I already am. I turn 30 on July 9th..and I'd like see 30 in tip top shape. I'm excited about turning 30. I have 12 weeks left being in my 20's. I've just been going through the motions in the past year...plus this will be a good distraction and something positive to focus on besides some personal problems I'm dealing with ATM.

After Abby I have been very half-hearted and I was the bottom on my list of priorities. Seriously, I made a list of my priorities and after looking at it a couple days later...I wasn't even on the list! So..I promise myself that I will be somewhere near the top of that list. I have a full day every day and the only way I can manage myself is running a tight ship...if there is anything I need to work on it is how to deal with changes in schedule..cuz I can't have control over EVERYTHING...even though ideally...I would. I'm trying really hard to not be such a control freak... I'm trying my best to learn to adapt to the unexpected without getting irritated.

This morning...5 minute warm up and 15 minutes of 20 second sprints with 40 seconds of walking and recovering/catching my breath lol I used to do 30 seconds or more lol..so I'll be working up on those...I've basically been doing steady state elliptical cardio all winter...with little resistance...and basically getting nowhere. I'll start to log by cycles from here on out instead of time. Total 25 minutes. :worried: For 6 weeks I'll do cardio three times a week..45 minutes tops on steady state and up to 20 minutes actual work on the HIIT maybe adding one 45 minute SS cardio...after week six..twice a week 60 minutes SS and two HIIT. That should get me close to where I wanna be by July. We will see. I'll add the other half later.

Im not sure if I'm going to log my meals or just add the cals and ratios at the end...I dunno....I really gg for now...I'll add more later

Yesterday's cals were 1366 50/30/20 P/C/F

This morning 45 min SS cardio - I walked on the tredmill full incline. That was boring as hell. I wanted to just lower the incline and break into a jog the whole time. I'll have to find ways to motivate myself past the 30 minute mark. Maybe only listen to music while I'm doing cardio..the SS cardio is long and boring. Maybe I'll get a jogging stroller and take Abby with me instead of sneak it in while she's sleeping in the morning. :)

Cindy, what exactly are your body recomposition goals? Not sure if you're looking for any suggestions, but I could perhaps provide a few if I knew your goals.

Just tryin to look good for bikini season, really...maybe drop a jean size. I think last time I had a log on here was in 2009..lol Suggestions would be great if you have the time. :) Basically, I want to drop some bf...lol

Would it be accurate to say you want to look very firm and have shapely muscles?
 
I forgot to update this yesterday. :) Yesterday I skipped AM Cardio (slept in) and did a full body superset workout in the afternoon

Barbell Romanian Deadlifts
DB Swing

DB lunges
DB stepups

seated rows
pushups as many as I could do lol

db rear delt fly
db side raises


my diet was absolute shit though yesterday. I ate nothing besides 1/2 cup oatmeal + Cottage cheese
and a postwo meal...and that was it :worried: idk what happened..I got busy and time just got away from me

I'm the same, I can't eat when I am stressed. watch out for fatigue and muscle weakness during heavy lifts.
 
Thanks Trex...I had trouble sleeping last night too. If I can get through the next week everything will be better. I just have too much responsiblity and I take too much on I think...its my own fault.

Anyway...today is just cardio..I did 15 minutes of those HIIT cycles mentioned above after a 5 minute warm up. I slept in so I couldn't do them in teh moring like I like, and I didn't have time/motivation to do more than that. Oh well. My legs were a little sore.. lol! :)

m1 ; 1/2 cup oats + 1/2c CC
m2 ; 3.25 oz ground turkey breast and green beans
m3 ; MRP
m4 ; 3.25 oz grilled chicken breast and veggies

ay chihuahua chica that's some serious calorie restriction you got there.

I hear you on the loss of appetite during periods of stress. Like you and trex, I react the same way. I might suggest you get down some sort of calorie dense food on days like that to ensure you keep your metabolic rate boosted. Maybe a few TB's of olive oil (240 kcal) or a few ounces of almonds. Exercising while running that low on calories is generally going to make it more difficult to keep the fat loss coming, and particularly difficult to add some muscle.

Also, Meal #1 girl you definitely need high quality protein consumption. You're pumping iron, calorie restricting, and failing to get sufficient complete protein throughout the day? That's a plan for muscle loss. You want some muscle gain while loosing fat, which will have a profound effect in making your body look harder and more shapely.
 
I have no advice but just wanted to drop in with general support. This is awesome, Cindy, though I see you haven't updated in a couple weeks.

Almost 30 or not, I think we're all in bikini prep mode. :-) Right there with you, girl.
 
I'm still here! Thanks Afeedz! I switched to 5x5 this week. I didn't like the hour long workouts plus cardio on top of that. Having a hard time motivating myself to get all my cardio in too.....I bought 4 bikinis...I returned three because I didn't like the way they looked.

:( I think it's more my breasts than anything. I used to really put them on display but now I feel like that's inappropriate because I'm a mom?

I got remeasured and I'm at a C cup, and in my world anything above a B means I'm too chunky for my taste so I still have a bit do go. I'm uncomfortable with how big they are. I've never been a C before. I would be happy to lose some fat in my breasts. I wear a sports bra everyday. I'm just not used to it. What's wrong with me?
 
Nothings wrong with you. We all have different body types so we have different expectations and things were comfortable with. I've had C's since I was like, 13, so I'm used to it...but if you're not used to them, and for you that means you have to lose fat, I understand.

When I gained weight, I went up to a D and I hated it. I felt like there was no such thing as a shirt that didn't show off the girls. Ugh. Thankfully I'm back down and so are my breasts because I'm really really uncomfortable with a D.
 
That's exactly how I feel! LOL Every suit I wear it seems like my breasts look so....out there and on display..almost inappropriate. If I see one inch of cleavage I'm grossed out. I think it's because I'm not used to them. LOL. Everyone complains about losing fat in their boobs first..well I'm cool with that. Hopefully in about a month I can report that I'm back down to a B cup ;)

I'm wearing a sun dress right now and it's layered with a cami and a sports bra so I can feel like I'm walking around in the right body. lololololol

Everything looks better with a tan :) Even my freckles!! LOL
 
update....I'm keeping up on the workouts and my diet as been between 1200-1500 cals I'll try and keep a better log starting tomorrow

I had two glasses of wine last night....

I've already dropped one jean size ;) plus I'm kinda getting a tan :)

boobs still big as fug tho..(still a C cup) I don't get it..my breasts are the only thing bothering me right now...swimwear wise

What's you height and weight? 1200-1500 seems low unless your a shorty can't recall.
 
Summer will be here this week! Right?! Anyway, I've 'almost' dropped two jean sizes and I've got two weeks left before 30, and I'm pleased with how the swimwear is looking. My prepreg jeans are still too snug to wear with a form fitting top but they could be worn with a sweatshirt or something. LOL! Things are going good. I'm not updating this like I should...it feels good to take care of myself. This week is just for me, I'm making sure to take extra special care of myself this week...I have an hour long massage and a pedicure planned. :) I've skipped some workouts here and there because I've taken some nights off and had a couple drinks but I am still making progress. Maybe a bday pic. :)

I can tell it's going to be a rough week

I hear ya, my kids are on summer break, so I find myself having less time than when they were going to school, definitely a challange at times to squeeze in my workout, between being their taxi driver, entertainer, cook, maid, etc ...ahhh, I need a massage myself !
