Former WWE, WCW, TNA wrestler Sean "XPac" Waltman posted the following statement on the message board for his official website www.SeanWaltman.com.

"Joanie was arrested on January 1st for domestic battery. She assualted me struck me in the head and face countless times after getting back from the Playboy Mansion. There were several witnesses to her behavior, including Jeff Meecham from The Extreme Mayhem Show, and unfortunately my two children witnessed and heard all of this. She was released today once again having to suffer no consequences for her behavior. She showed no remorse."

As I got into on the hotline, I am intrigued that Waltman actually pressed charges against Laurer. Anyone that has followed their relationship may agree with me. But it appeared that XPac was quite "whipped". His statements, almost pleas in the past made many feel sorry for him. If what Sean Waltman says in the statement is true, I give him credit for standing up to the abuse. There was always rumors of it in the past about the abuse. Now it appears to be factual.

More on this story as it develops. It should be interesting how the media handles it since VH1 premieres "The Surreal Life" January 9th which she co-stars. Check out our Wrestlevision report for more info on the airdates and times for the show.

Most posters on this site are like the average man in terms of behavior and attitudes. Well I think the average man feels any man getting beat by his woman is a total pussy and well guys find guys who are pussies funny. I'm sure we are all against men on women violence and especially against it in front of children. What makes it funnier everyone thought the character Xpac was a bitch and now we know the man who played him is a bitch too.

I'm not suggesting that domestic violence is acceptable. It is not. However, putting in front of children is worse.

If domestic violence occurs in a home without kids, then the next logical step is for the victim to go to the police and settle it.

When children are involved, there's the added difficult task of removing the association from the children's memory.

What a lot of people fail to realize is that constant, rude and belittling comments can and DO hurt as much as fists.

So many couples speak so rudely and disrespectfully to each other in front of their kids without a second thought. It makes me livid.

Then for me to read here that not only is it OK... BUT FUCKING FUNNY that this dude was beaten up (regardless of who these two people are it makes no difference. the fact that they have some degree of celebrity makes them no less human)

domestic violence isn't funny, but it's pretty fucking weird that xpac played the role of an easily pushed around bitch on TV and is being treated like one in his home life.

had this been the other way around, yeah, you woud've seen a different reaction. but ya know what? it's like what was already said....when men get their asses whipped by women we sit here and don't feel sorry for them, we wonder what in the fuck is wrong with the guy. it's NOT the normal thing you hear about.

Actually anyone who thinks that it is funny to see a man get beaten by a woman DOES think that domestic violence is a laughing matter. Domestic violence is not just a woman being beaten by a man. It goes the other way. The only diff is that the cases of the woman on man violence go unreported far more than the other way around largely due to "this truth" you speak of that you say I dont like.

I'd never hit a woman out of simple anger...but you best believe if a woman ever seriously hit me, I'd apply equal rights. You don't have the right to go el snappo and beat mercilessly, but everyone has the right to defend themselves.

Waltman needs to follow through on the charges, if for no other reason to teach his kids that this sort of behaviour is not normal and is not acceptible in society.
