Chinese joining in. WW3 is about to unfold.

I don’t know if this article is true or not, but it makes sense that China would want to get involved in this, because the balance of power to them, is very important. Don’t be surprised if they take advantage of this situation and choose this time to move in on Taiwan. We then would have to activate our automatic response that we already have planned if they do so, then we go to war with them. China has been very silent about this whole situation, which seems odd too.

The Chinese military is not as strong as people think. They would not win a war with against the US. They are number 2 in military power but in that number 2 is really number 12. That’s how for the US is ahead in military power. China only has the ability to move 20,000 troops in any kind of invasion within two hundred miles of their coast. That’s not very much at all. The only thing that makes them dangerous is their nuclear arsenal.

I don't see how the balance of power thing comes into play. If we put in a US friendly government in Afghanastan, how does that help us? It's a poor country, with little natural resources, and on top of that it's landlocked. China would rather pick and choose it's battles a little more carefully than that. Besides they don't want to ruing MFN (most favored nation) status with the US by doing such an act.

Thats right . The might of the American economic engine is pulling China into being a developed country. Money almost always wins. They would lose too much money. They would also get their asses kicked. I'd never trust one lone media story. Many times the media fails to check on the validity of a story before reporting it as fact. Who is the media accountable to? Nobody.

"counteracted" does NOT mean they are about to start bombing the shit out of everyone....hell, they'll probably join the alliance too.

Will the people who keep starting these fucking-stupid-hate-inducing-waste-of-pixels-"lets try and spread as much terror as the terrorists" threads please shut up. You know no more than the rest of us, if as much.

WELL....Excuse me Ms-popular-make-decisions-on-elite-holy-Christ. I did not pull this out of my ass, I simply posted and article that was published online. This is hardly from my own opinion or self-knowledge. If you don't want to read it then don't post on this thread and bumb it. I think articles like this are important, because if this is true, it could be a very serious situation for us in the future and we should all be aware of it.

This is a chat and conversation board. All kinds of threads are meant to be posted here. No one here has the right to say what to post and not to besides George himself. If you don’t find this thread meaningfull or interesting then don’t read it and read the ones you do. I know you are entitled to your own opinion but, You are no one to say what you said, because what you request is beyond your power on this board , which is zero. This is not your board or thread

The balance of power thing mainly has to do with RUSSIA and US. Not afganistan. A coalition with them and the US would really shoot Chinas power down the tubes.

But i do agree with you. Even if china was worried about this, putting troops in Afghanistan to help the taliban is a very stupid move, and does nothing for them. I do see the possible increased threat of them maybe trying to go after Taiwan in the future, but this troop thing in Afghanistan does not seem like legit news to me.

....sign a pact with Russia. The Chinese leadership viewed this eventuality as the most significant shift in the global balance since the 1962 Chinese-Russian feud, with dangerous implications for China's world standing and its interests in Central and Southwest Asia. Beijing reportedly concluded such an alliance must be counteracted....

I think people are totally forgetting here that the territory of Afghanistan that borders China is controlled by the Northern Alliance. How could China just march troops into there??

Damn there sure are a lot of dumbasses on this board. How can you take this crap seriously. This is SPECULATION from an UNRELIABLE source. Wake up and get over your paranoia! China's not fucking invading anyone!
