For all of you who are ever in a pinch driving around starving and not wanting to eat fast food..

Wendy's chili is pretty damn good and supposedly has less than 5g Fat.. got lean ground beef.. some beans.. good veggies.. spicy.. less than $2 for the large size too.

Granted.. wish it had MORE beef in it.. but it's still damn good.

it isnt to bad, tastes good and is suppose to be very good for you,I lost the link to the nutritional values though

i like Wendy's chili too. funny someone should bring this up. i recently bought some cans of Hormel chili. i was surprised how high the amount of protein grams per can, like 40.

OK These are the stats I got from the link Ruffian posted:

Large Chili (Wendy's):

300 calories
7g fat (3g saturated)
31g Carbs (7g fiber, 7g sugar)
25g Protein

So yeah, better than most fast food by far.. like I said.. if you're desparate.

I'll have to keep that in mind for 2005...gave up fast food for my new year's resolution. Who knows if I make it that ling, I just may never eat fast food again ;)

Hormel's Turkey Chili with beans. 99% fat free and about 34g of protein per can ~400 calories.

Can't beat that with a bat!

It's fiber count is definately appealing. I guess if your hard up and starving there are definately many more bad choices than good (as far as fast food is concerned).

Here in South FL I stick for "Pollo Tropical". They have a quarter of chicken, usually half breast with one wing (on the grill) with rice and black beans for $2.99. The service, well y'know..latin system; but the food is nice.
