Nice photo.

I just think its hilarious that for the past 3 months Kerry/Edwards have been saying we went into Iraq too quickly, etc. When this story broke they said we didnt go in quickly enough.
:worried:

lol....I thought the same thing when he said that. He is sucking hind tit today for his comments yesterday.

Whatever it takes to get votes!

I challenge any of you to defend this HUGE act of incompentency from our Bush Administration.

Tell me how this make a single soldier or citizen safer?

Bush deserves to be tried for treason for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

Now that this has been shown to be a false story, I think a better question is:

- Are you against Bush becuase you think the war will fail?

- Or do you want the war to fail because you're against Bush.

Given kneejerk eagerness in your posting this, I'd say it's the second, which as far as I'm concerned means you're most interested in seeing America fail to gratify your hatred of Bush, and that gives you 0 credibility with me.

Thanks for answering the question for me.

My opinion of Bush and his family has evolved over the years as I matured and became more aware and knowledgeable.

I started as a strong republican and a Bush I supporter back in 1980. But by 2000 my feelings of support have transformed to loathing. I loath the Bushs. All of them, dad included. I knew Bush was going to lead America into war before he stole the election in 2000. (yes, I am one of those that STILL questions his legitimacy). Bush has been a disaster for the US from the very beginning.

So, the ill-conceived war in Iraq only reinforced my hatred for Bush rather than cause it. I'm angry with him that he has forced the US into this situation. This horrible waste of lives and money. The squandered good will the US had around the world. (I'm one of those Americans that has to deal with and face the rest of the world, their anger and hatred towards anything American..... Trust me.... WE ARE NOT SAFER BECAUSE OF THE WAR IN IRAQ. I suppose from your vantage point in Anywhere, USA, YOU do feel safer.) Bush's blindly slavish tax cuts DID NOT CREATE JOBS like he claimed they would. From the very first months of his administration, he reversed all of his campaign promises. Instead of acknowledging his shaky mandate in Jan 2001 and taking a true moderate stance, he handed the government over to the radicals and ideologs.

The war needs to fought differently. It needs to be brought to a conclusion.... and I do not care if fundamentalisat take over and rule. We need a 'Manhatten Project' type of program to create and produce alternate energy sources. I believe if we had spen the now 225 BILLION dollars towardss such an endeavor, then we could eliminate our dependance on a mideveal kingdom and the religious fanatics in the middle east.

The manhattan project idea is a pretty good and novel one, but keep in mind if left to their own devices these people would be the next Hitler or Stalin, only this time with nuclear weapons; their idealogy does indeed call for them to conquer the world under an Islamic banner, and say we do leave... fundamentalists will still take over, they will still have money, they will still try to develop nukes...and eventually it would come to our shores anyway, only quite possibly worse than any other time in history...

Same old fascist assholes, different region, different excuse to try to take over the world

You know?

Have you been asleep for two days? This has been out for a while. As a matter of fact there is nothing newsworthy about the story except that the New York Times and CBS "held" the story until this week in an attempt to hurt Bush.

Over 400,000 tons of explosives have been secured or destroyed by US troops. The UN says 400 tons got away. Our military says they were not there when we arrived.

Right now John Kerry is out basically taking the word of the UN OVER THE WORD OF THE 101ST AIRBONE DIVISION!!!!!

This has become the main point of his campaign, and it is pitiful.

God Bless Our Troops and God Bless GW Bush.

Right you are. He's grasping something that isn't there.

I do not disagree with you here. But because of the constraints of political correctness that strangles our country (and much of the western world) we cannot talk about the real war that needs to be fought. Bush's war is not the right one. It only inflames our enemy.
