cheese

you're right

You're right.......I don't know too much, that's why I'm asking the question. Wow, that took genius thought now didn't it.

Cheese is bad for any diet...

Also some FYI, the dye that is in yellow cheese is very bad for the stomach...My freind used to get sick from it, he now uses white cheddar...So I now use it also...

Strange... ya cheese is pretty fatty, I love the shit though, and eat it a lot... (yay constipation :) ). Then again, I'm one of those freak shows that has an extremely fast metabolism...

I tend to eat Low fat cheese when cutting, because, well it`s low in fat, and a normal strong cheese when bulking cause it has good Protien/fats

I use the NON-FAT cheese.

I only use cheese in the mornings with my omlet.

Is cheese bad for a diet.........if so.......how?

no one has answered why cheese is bad for you, they just say "it is", which gives me the impression that they just believe what the heard or read.

I for one eat lost of it, although the chemicals used to dye the cheeze is harmful, (to a minimal degree) natural cheese contain a pretty good balance of macros, for a nice even insulin response. Whether dieting or buking i always throw cheese in my tuna-wiches. Cheese also contains casein, which is a slow digesting protein found only in dairy products.

TechRugby If your such a genius why didn't you post this on the diet discussion board? Your not thinking cheese is a steroid are you? lol.

cheese doesnt fit weel into my diet, maybe if i was bulking it would fit great, but i need to loose a bit of bf%

I for one agree that cheese may be bad for you . I have it in the morning with my egg white only omlette ( Low fat Swiss cheese). I have cottage cheese too (low Fat). I am on a cycle of D-bol,Deca, and Test En. 2 weeks into it and I have'nt gain water ,just muscle. So as far as I'm concered I'll eat cheese no matter what. Muscles crave what you feed them.
Mighty Mouse

Before all the "cheese haters" jump in i just wanted to add that cottage cheese as an amazing muscle builder. a tub containd 60pro/24carb/5fat. it also contains alot of casein.

that is all:D

mostly saturated fat

I eat a lot of cottage cheese, but it is not the same as other cheese....cheddar, american, mozzarella, etc.

The reason cheese is bad is because at least half is fat, and most that fat is SATURATED FAT.....and that is why it is bad for any diet.

"Many weightlifters badmouth cottage cheese, whining that it tastes bad and can't be used in any recipes (I henceforth declare them crybabies, by the way). To overlook cottage cheese is to do without a great source of lean protein and a versatile food.

Thus, I have made it my mission to convert the heathen.

High in protein, low in fat, easily available even in the crummiest dive of a convenience store, and great as a substitute for higher-fat cheeses or in its own right, cottage cheese is truly the food of the gods. Try a few of these (and send me any that you might have) and see if you can't bring CC into your life too."

true. if you read labels however you will find ratios of all kinds...high protein, high carb, high fat, Zone diet ratio...etc. depends on the cheese.

Cottage cheese nutrient analysis per 120 g serving (1% fat version):

Most cheese is made with oil in it, dairy is generally something your supposed to avoid if your trying to lose weight, too much sugar.

I personally like cheese and all dairy product for that matter, but then again i have one of those metoabolisms that most guys pray for. But then again ol Bessie ( my cow) doent really like me cause im constantly trying to milk every drop out of her. So in conclusion... chese is good for me....bad for Bessie.
