Nothing is wrong with being hot, especially when you are... however when you constantly tell everyone your hot and create threads that boost your ego. it gets old rather quickly...

Boost my own ego? :rolleyes:

I came to EF for the sole purpose and goal to do exactly what I've done. Unlike you, there are so many people on here who have helped me reach these goals and truly had a hand in on my success. Even the assfaces (you intended) who try to knock or those who made heifer jokes gave some level of motivation. I never heard people talk shit in the beginning when I was down on myself, lack selfesteem, was overweight and posted threads about what was going on and my transformation. This is still all part of the transformation.

It's not about boasting....it's about being proud of an accomplishment. Maybe one day you'll get there too and walk around with confidence.

Ok, i like you again.

I was a big gurl when I found EF Feb 05. Everyone (most) were so encouraging and supportive....it was a big play in my loss.


Btw...did I mention how ridiculously good looking I am? Hey everyone, come see how good I look!!!

there is something to be said for accomplishment...we love when others are down and out- cause we get a break from ourselves, knowing someone else appears to be suffering as much or more than us. we reach out and take hold and embrace these others, comfort, console, communicate, support them into another place of being.
It seems as soon as they get there, we become apathetic. they become acquaintance. we search out for another person to assist. if "our project" becomes too successful or recieves too much attention and surpasses our own lives, they become a target of judgement and scrutiny...when all the time- many could teach us and join us on a new level.

HH, this isn't intended to be a mean spirited post, but I see kind of what arabian was saying. You do have an awful lot to be proud of, you have accomplished something incredible and have show the willpower that some people (including myself) wish they had. This site along with the others you mentioned in your interview have helped you and all of that is as martha would say, "a good thing". That aside, being confidant and being proud can easily turn into something more like bragging and arrogant. I'm not saying you are, I'm just saying that if you want to support to continue, keep a tight rein on the "hey look at me" stuff.

Again, I'm not slamming you or calling you names, and I think you have a lot to be proud of, just keep it under control. If I won the lottery (which is kind of what you have done in a sense) and bragged about it everytime I saw or spoke with you, you would get sick of it wouldn't you?

HH Great Job, I didnt read the whole article but it seems like you worked hard and had alot of discipline in order to get were you are. Most people just talk but dont do, you did, congrats!

Ohh by the way confidence is sexy.
 
HH accomplishments are so far from bragging. I personally find her hard work and accomplishments very motivating.
She is not talking about money or fame, she is talking about a whole life style change she made which even the strongest person on this planet has difficulty achieving.
This is what EF is about, sharing each others stories good and bad.

Good job HH, the interviewer was right, you have a great energy. Keep it up, I love following your progress.

Instead of me spending 47thousand hours sending a PM to everyone I SHARE my success story as I have from day one through a thread. You should try to "put a reign" on your negativity. I have been posting a thread about what is going on in my life regarding my goals, weight and such since I came to EF in 05. Why do you think it is that you or anyone else never stepped up to say "hey, stop posting about how fat you are"?

I never asked for anyone's support, but because there are truly some of the most amazing people on this site, I've never once had to. It has been in abundance and those that I give a rat's ass about knowing and sharing with....I can assure you there support will be here as long as I am. That is how you define good people. Those people know what I'm all about, what I've gone through, and where I'm at now. The ones who just hop in and out as if they THINK they know with their negative reinforcement.... I don't give two smelly shits about their "support".

If you told me about winning the same lottery every single time I saw you....I'd prob ask you if you had ADD.

You and I have talked a few times off the public part of these boards. I can sympathize with your custody issues, but you don't have to attack me publicly like that for something that is common place. Certainly random comments from some unknown internet schmo isn't going to effect your custody case, but that being said - if beig on EF could effect custody - perhaps you shouldn't be here.

You know all you had to do is ask me to edit my post for you and I would have.... there wasn't any need for that bullshit. :)

It takes A LOT of guts to walk this walk. Every single day we have to tell ourselves that we DESERVE air. WE KNOW our poop does stink. We just hope that we can help other people who are or have been going through what we went through and let them know that we understand and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Arabian is a good guy. A guy with a HYUGE heart who understands the fear of not being able to see his kids even though he never did anything to deserve them being kept from him. ie HE IS LIVING IT so go easy.

I have done everything in my power for the past 5 years to encourage, support, and create flexibility so that mini me and her dad have a great relationship. And now he's doing the things he is to me and her. Poop on him. Arabian, I'm so sorry.

The good news is that regardless of what happens (you know as do I that there is no rhyme or reason when it comes to these matters) YOU KNOW you did your best always... and one day your daughter will know it too. Maybe one day before it is too late her father will pull his head out of his ass and focus on his daughter and be less concerned with you. We can only hope, right?
