The Jewish population has been bitching and screaming since Ramsey tied them up. They got hell in WW2, I agree. But so did Poland, Czechoslovakia, Greece, and other surrounding countries. Meanwhile, Jews are all over the Forbes 400 list, (35 of them I think), and have become successful in numerous indistries. People even accuse them of "running the country" and lists abound of Jews who have risen to senior levels of US government. Seems like they are doing more than just bitching.

You have to ask yourself WHY certain people are always getting picked on? It’s the old saying of if one person tells you that you are drunk tell him to go to hell. If ten people tell you that you are dunk it’s time to go home and go to sleep.

Both jews and blacks have always been a convenient target for groups in power...the Jews post re-unification of Rome and throght the european Holy Roman empire, (Court Jews, feudalism, etc) and the blacks since the second they were freed. A lot of the anti-drug and alocohl legislation of the early 1900's was passed on the grounds that "crazy negroes under the influence were a threat to civilized people everyhwere". Really.

Scapegoating is hardly a new phenomenon, and if history has shownus anything it is that peopl eneed to conform and minorties will always get picked on.

The “chosen” people? Are you kidding me? It’s that kind of 2000 year old thinking that had the crusaders running all through Europe. Now they have nukes. Yea, real smart thing to let them have. I think the world would be safer if they had only rocks and sticks. Unfortunately the United States uses them for stability in the area.

Actually it was Muslims in the "Holy Land" that had the Crusaders running through Europe. The more things change, the more they stay the same, huh?

The Jewish idea of "chosen" doesvnot mean that they are better than everyone else. In fact, the Jewish religion is the only one among the 3 major monotheistic religions that allows for non-Jews to be resurrected when God comes to Earth.

Christianity and Islam far more propagate the idea of "chosen" or exclusivity by encourgauing conversion. Try telling a Christian or Muslim that a non Christian or Muslim can be saved. They'll mock you and then start preaching. A jew will agree if you say non-Jews can see God.

The time has far passed for them to integrate and yet hold their heritage. If they (all of the races) refuse to then they can only blame themselves for their own destruction. The world will NOT hold still for the few that sit and sob. Thank god Darwin’s theory still holds…

Since the Jews are the oldest continually surviving group on earth today, I don't know what the Darwin point was, except perhaps to show that groups have have shit on the Jews have always disappeared or lost power??

Honestly, I am at work now, but I don't have to wait for someone to pay me, it's my show. I need to see how many employees I have that I pay $60/hr. Off the top of my head, I can think of about 20....but what does any of that have to do with this on the board?

I come here because I am a long time friend of EF and GS and I do the mod thing for my friend.

The idea that you expressed a complete misunderstanding both of the Crusades and of the idea of "chosen" conveys a low level understanding of those issues. It's no biggie - you probably know a lot more about IT than I do...

Not sure what 110k comes out to hourly, but I'm sure its less than what you make. The upside is, I live in a state that generally considers 65k rich.

But can we agree that history leaves a very wide gap for interpretation and is very subjective because it was mostly written by the conquers?

Both sides claiming the other is ignorant may not be totally unthinkable.
