It was Menachem Begin and the early Haganna that helped in the systematic expulsion of Palestinians from their towns, the bulldozing of those towns, and the plowing under of their farms... so that the 'new land' could be used by israelis....
And the palestinains were not settling that land, so why shoouldn't the Jews?

Like, for instance, tearing up Olive groves that support whole neighborhoods as their ONLY means of making a living, turning off water and electricity to whole towns for weeks on end, etc. etc etc
Ever try and run a business, and I mean ANY business without electricity? or water? or the legal right or means to pave the fucking roads?
