I woulda got under him with a big heavy book (think encyclopedia) and I would have tossed it straight up to hit broad-side with serious force. That fucker would have been a splattermark.

That was such a stupid move it almost seemed staged. Using a fucking Tupperware container with a circumference equal to that of the (probably venomous) spider itself = the guy deserving to get bit. He probably hurt the poor thing's legs in the process of his FAIL.

for real^^^ that thing probably would have woken up after the book smashed it like "what was that?"....and then realizing what happened takes the book and proceeds to beat the dude's head with it. That was a seriously fucking big spider I would not have gone near unless I had a welding torch.

You guys are a bunch of pussies, I've seen bigger huntsman spiders than that.
A huntsman won't kill you, unless he bites your toungue/lip and then you'll have to breathe through a straw. I actually had a huntsman spider in my house for a while, I left it alone because they are pretty good at keeping your house fly free.
I imagine a huntsman bite would hurt a lot because they are strong, but not very venomous and not usually aggressive.

You mean flying insects? Arthropods include arachnids as well.
I am not afraid of flies, they are just nasty. Anything that eats poop isn't really a favorite of mine. Not keen on mosquitoes or roaches either.
I'd be more afraid of spiders, but not necessarily huntsmen. They are some much more poisonous ones down here.
We got plenty of deadly critters, you should all come down here and check them out.

It's an allergy to the venom of insects. If someone is allergic to bee stings it's recommended they avoid all insects with venom. I've been tagged a couple of times by an emperor scorpion...it hurts like a bee sting.

Jesus Christ that thing was big. I couldn't tell until he held up the Tupperware for reference. If I saw something like that in my house I would move.
