cardio

I keep it low twice a week 15-30mins. I also like to on days I'm working small muscles move more quickly to make it more cardio like. I think it is important for health reasons. Keep your heart in good shape while gaining all that wieght.

some people swear by it and insist they grow as well as doing none, others reckon it hinders their growth. Obviously too much is going to do the latter, but was quite interested in everybodys view on this.

It's been my experience that the less cardio you do, the more strength and size you will gain from lifting.

In the winter when I'm bulking, I do just enough cardio so that in the spring when I want to cut I have a good base to build up from. For me that's about 30 minutes 3x/week.

how much cardio does everybody use whilst bulking?

I sparred kick boxing for 5 5-minute rounds with 2 minutes between on Monday nights but didn't do much of any other cardio while on first cycle. I ussually train jui jitsu 2 nights a week in addition to spar to pick up my ground game. Only 1 cycle of experience but all research said to minimize cardio for gains to maximize. I just like to spar so I couldn't give that up.

During bulking season i have to do some cardio so i can maintain some of my sexy, and have a good base for when i do massive cardio during cutting time. I bust out 30 min of HIIT 5min of warm up/20 min of go effin crazy/5 min of cool down, twice a week. Then other days just bust out 30 min of walking

A waste of time. Whatever cardio does, weight training accomplishes much better. (And if somebody asks what I do for heart, I swear I'll shove a barbell up their ass if I ever see them).

Besides, I feel like a douchebag running in one spot or riding a bike that goes nowhere.

You want cardio? Play a game of hoops or handball of something.

I should mention that I live in NYC so I walk and bike for real most every day.
