IMO, everyone needs SOME cardio to maintain healty heart lungs etc.
-If you are wanting to lose fat or maintain IMO
10-20 min warmup light intensity cardio
Lift
30 min intense interval cardio
60 min cardio on empty stomach in am on your off days..
If you have the metabolism of a fly or you are bulking,
just do cardio on your off days.
I see lots of big dudes not warming up and just jumping into heavy lifting.. ouch!
