Cardio....

Just curious what your opinions are on doing cardio before or after hitting the weights. Any benefit one way or the other?

personally, I can't do either. If I do any cardio before, my lifts suffer. and if I did my lifts correctly, I'm too tired to do them after. I do my cardio on off days.
 
from what i read Morring cardio on an empty tank is #1
Warming up 5-10 mins...lift...then cardio 20-30 mins.....if cutting
if your not cutting then a quick pace workout should do the trick
 
IMO, everyone needs SOME cardio to maintain healty heart lungs etc.


-If you are wanting to lose fat or maintain IMO

10-20 min warmup light intensity cardio
Lift
30 min intense interval cardio
60 min cardio on empty stomach in am on your off days..



If you have the metabolism of a fly or you are bulking,
just do cardio on your off days.
I see lots of big dudes not warming up and just jumping into heavy lifting.. ouch!
 
I totally understand...tough to do cardio before of after when you work out hard. I have been suffering through the cardio 3 times a week, usually after lifting.
