cardio problem...

Im having a hard time building my cardio for a switch from 3 minute rounds to 5 minute rounds of fighting.
I am getting way to winded now and I cant seem to recover in my 1 minute rest period anymore.
I would be greatful for any input.
 
If you are using HIIT training for ourardio, you absolutly musthave a Periodized pogression, with microcycle format to build up to maximum intensity for 5 minutes, adrcovery in 1 minute. whats your program ok like righ now? frequency, resistance, equipment, rest times...
