Hey, I'm thinking of starting the 5x5 as my lifting routine while cutting, but my problem is, with squatting 3 days a week, how can you do any cardio?
Right now I'm 5' 9", 180, probably 20% BF, and I've been lifting for about 3 years now. I know i personally don't like to run the day after i do squats so my legs have some time to recover, is this unnecessairy?
My goal was to lift 3 days a week pretty heavy, working the cores hard and not really worrying about accessory excersizes, so the 5x5 seemed like a good fit. Is there some kind of modification that I could make to make it more appropriate for a cutting routine rather than a bulking one? What I'm trying to do excersize wise is below:
Sunday: Weights and Cardio
Monday: Cardio
Tuesday: Weights and Cardio
Wednesday: Cardio
Thursday: Weights
Friday: Off
Saturday: Cardio
thanks a lot guys!
