Don't judge by the pumps alone ,or really even give them that much credence as being indicative of your gear working. There are too many variables determining a pump to solely base thier intensity or even occurance on the AS. First of all you are going to have to be more patient. You're only starting your second week. Here's a wild idea...Don't "really try" to get a pump. A pump does not determine a good workout. Do a heavy single and see if you get a "pump". That heavy single inflicted far more stress on your body than 15 reps for the "pump" can ever accomplish. Lift with intensity, not the mentality to acheive a pump. And it is highly unlikely strenght gains will materialize within a week. It takes these physiological processes time to evolve...not minutes. You have to make the effort for strength gains. Be more patient. Take care of your part and the AS will take care of it's.
