Can You Get Prosecuted By Customs For Mail Order Roids?

Zyglamail said:
So I can run upto the whitehouse and drop off a bag of pot and it is then in the presidents posession and he is presecutable even if he has no knowledge of it? Your logic is flawed. There was more to your case then someone dropping it off on your door and tossing you in jail.

Bullshit...It was a controlled deliver by customs, i didn't even get the package, my girlfriend got it but i was home at the time. That alone was enough for them to execute a search warrant and take me to jail. No other drugs were seized and nothing else was on the warrant. The warrant was specifically for the 200 oxymetholone tabs that they dropped off. the charge was for possession of oxymetholone and the pack was never opened. My girl even wrote "return to sender" on the pack and my ass still went to jail...So, you think both of my lawyers overlooked something?

Well, you just said that your girlfriend took the package. If she refused it, and if they wouldn't find anything in your house they woudn't have the case.

How many "normal" law abiding citizens refuse to take mail from the postman when he drops if off at the door. I wouldn't know not to accept it if I weren't in this game. About 50% of the time, our postman hands us the mail anyways. BTW, she never sighned for it, I guess that isn't required...

Thats just it, you said just them dropping it off constitutes possesssion. When you first said that you didnt say your girlfriend accepted it. You are right though most people dont look through mail handed to them to make sure everything in a pile is wanted. It still seems like you were railroaded because if simply accepting a pack at the door means your guilty then I could send AAS to the guy down the streat who pissed me off, tip the cops off and he would goto jail right?

That's exactly it and that's why I am so pissed. It might work out ok since things aren't done yet but i can't see what they can prosecute for. There is no way to prove i ordered it and I never admitted to anything. I don't know how long this shit if going to be able to hold up. I didn't admit to ordering it, knowing what was inside the package, or ever using steroids. I'm still trying to get a better lawyer cause it seems to me that one should be able to get this whole mess dismissed without too much effort...

Give rick collins a call and see if he is licensed in your state or has anyone he would recommend in your state.

On a side note, I was reading some prior cases in his book of people who have been convicted, its some scary shit, one guy coped a plea and got 35 years in prison. Prior to the plea, if he would have taken his chances he faced life for selling AAS. Now tell me our government isnt fucked up. Dont get me wrong this is great country, but it isnt great because of its government, its great dispite its government. There really has to be something we can do to at least reduce the criminalization of use, its rediculous to say the least. The government WE pay and the government WE put in office sits back and decides what is in our best interest with main focus on AAS use to keep sports a level playing field. Thats simply lame, these professional sports franchises make enough fucking money let them police their own plays and keep government out of sports, just like it is out of religion.

How cool would it be that when the mailman hands us a pile of mail that we could have him wait while we sift through it first and hand him back the junkmail that we don't want.
You need a better attorney. The burden of proof is on them, not on you to prove your innocence. If all they have is that the stuff was dropped off at your house and your girlfriend took it, that sounds pretty weak to me. Proof beyond a reasonable doubt.

This shit is scary as a lot of us do or probably have mail ordered.
I take it the risk is greatly reduced by odering within the states?
I hear the idea's about fake ID's and PO boxes, but somewhere there is aways a trace, right? Looking for advice here. Thanks

Opening a PO with a fake ID is a federal offence and will likely just give them more charges to bring against you.
