thats what my brother suggested, and i agree, but my mom wants to get a puppy and raise it....doesnt wanna be stuck with someboddyelse's headache

Lots of puppies at the pound usually. Just may have to make a couple of visits over a few week period to find the one you want..

This is what we have. Smarter than my kids (or at least listens to me better than my kids) and very friendly.

Yes they are. Mine is 5 and we have only had one bad back episode. THe vet said it was because he jumps from the couch, chair, etc.

Said to make him stop doing that. Impossible!

Wonderful dogs though.
