Do you think it would work? I live on the edge of my town`s border so no one even knows about my street from the municipality.

Believe it or not, I did this in the past in order to strong arm the President and Treasurer of our homeowners association to step down.
But you actually have to own the street you put the toll booth on (I did, I went to the city and bought it). I went as far as getting the toll booth company to come out and pour concrete where they were going to place the collector box at when they caved in and left their offices.
