Can ecstacy damage be undone? I need to fix myself. Please read and help me out!

In defense of ADD no one really knows what it is or its essential nature in the biochemistry in the brain. But to close your mind and say its an excuse for stupid people is very IGNORANT. Some of the greatest minds in history are now to be believed to have had ADD. Some one with this classification thats really all it is is able to hyper focus in things that they enjoy and under focus in things that they dont.

Personally I have been classified with this. It is quite annoying at times when sitting in class listening to professors lecture and all I can think about is the girl next to me and how many different ways i could have fun with her. anyway. I do exploit this classification inside the college system to get professors notes, and untimed testing. but anyway

TOO CALL SOMEONE STUPID BECAUSE THEY THEMSELVES DO NOT HAVE A FIRM UNDERSTANDING OF A SUBJECT IS COMPLETE IGNORANCE MY BROTHER.

Totally agree!

Also, simultaneously...look into the following:

5-htp (aids with depression and your body may lost it's ability to manufacture this d/t the beans!)
sam-e (over-all well-being/mood enhancer)
tyrosine (for overall neurotransmitter support)
Inositol (aids w/ deppression)

----don't waste $ on St. John's Wort---It's bunk!

And DON'T forget the prayers!

Hey bro---did you not read this!!! Im teling ya---try it! You should definitely try the nutritional approach PRIOR to taking more Rx medications!

Good luck---God bless you.

THis guy has serious psychiatric problems... sorry fellas, but "nutritional supplements" are not going to work. He needs to be under the care of a good psychiatrist. That means DRUGS. And that means psychotherapy.

He needs HELP. And this isn't really the place to get it. About the only useful info you can get here... is that you should exercise. Good destressor for the mind.

Prayer? Nutritional supplements? Have you guys ever known ANYONE with a serious mental illness? Apparently you haven't. Why is it that people obsessed with strength have to subject themselves to great pain by not getting the help they need... because needing help with mental problems is "weak?" Its a stupid stigma, and if he listens to you guys touting only prayer and vitamins, he's FUCKED.

Work with your mental health professionals.

OK
#1 5htp is the poor uneducated mans answer for protecting the brain to serotonin burnout.

ltryptophan---->5htp------>serotonin = sleep after mdma use or lsd

#2 mental illness is carried genetically and can be brought out by certain emotional pain example post traumatic stress disorder (vietnam vets) or Drugs because the fuck your brain up biochemically and just as roids can give you gyno or make you bald. Its all the roll of the genetic dice and your predisposition.

#3 SSRI's are the only proven method of dealing with ecstacy caused depression. Prozac Paxil and Zoloft have been proven to POSSIBLY regrow burnt out serotonin neurons in some individuals.

#4 Many people on this board including me have mixed feelings about ssri's as a treatment for depression. BUT because the MDMA possibly brought out the depression than this should, would and will be the proper medication that the psychiatrist will perscribe.

Everyone who has taken XTC please go to this site I find It provides more than enough info and medical abstracts concerning every possible recreational drug and how it can affect you

http://www.biopsychiatry.com

about mdma protectction using prozac

http://mdma.net/protect/prozac.html

this site explains how sustained use of ssri's can regrow damged brain cell sites

hope thi is helpful to all you E TARDS

have you tried an SSRI, or discussed this with a psychiatrist? There are ways of minimizing the neuro-toxitity of Rec. use, but; in laymans terms, chronic use can lead to a degradation of serotonin receptors.

here are some good, peer-reviewed articles, look under MDMA on the main page then scroll down. hope this helps friend and for what it is worth, i think you should give zoloft/prozac or any SSRI a chance for at least 2months consistently.

While excessive use of X can lead to a temporary depression, what you are describing is a little bit different than serotonin depletion. If you were predisposed to depression, then excessive usage would have a more dramatic impact, of course. The fact is that your serotonin will replenish itself over time, and even in the most drastic cases just a few weeks is enough time, provided that the mechanism itself is not damaged. Now, high doses of X at once cause more damage than low doses over time. Case in point...I have used X for twelve years, but I do not use it excessively, nor do I use high doses. The years that I used high doses (200+mg/night) I had a more difficult time with short term memory.

The suggestion to seek medical advice has pros and cons. Right now there is a hysterical and unjustified attitude towards MDMA in general, and doctors tend to overstate the ACTUAL damage that is done by this drug. Some damgae is done, but it is significantly less than the damage done by average alcohol consumption.

Many here will begin constructing an argument against the last statement, but facts about this are readily available. May I suggest that you join the discussion boards at bluelight.nu and see what advice and insight is offered there. Often the worst place to get advice is from a doctor who has only READ about the drug. Remember, there is no substitute for experience.

The main problem you are exhibiting at present is simply low self esteem. You are punishing yourself for drug use, and excusing laziness by citing a fictional state of damage to your mind. I know about this, because I have tried that too.

Your mind can convince you of just about anything. Best way to counteract that is to TAKE CONSTRUCTIVE ACTIONS, regardless of how you FEEL.

It is what you DO that will overpower what you FEEL.

Doing nothing is the road to a quick death, both spiritually and physically.

For starters, read THE SPIRIT MOLECULE (about dmt), and then see what thoughts occupy your mind about this issue in general.
