Wow, without knowing what kind of camping, or what kind of equipment you've got, or what kind of experience you've got ... whew.

The not obvious things you will always need: really good ziplock bags, extra change of shoes, toilet paper and a good hatchet.

Thanks guys - sorry for limited info originally.

Going to a campground - Would rent the site to put up tent etc. Living in the city I really have NOTHING so I would need to buy some stuff. LOL

that's not camping, that's a wallless hotel, lol.

If you are bringing kids and wife, be prepared to have an excess of stuff you won't need and barely the room for it.

Just bring the basics - tent, sleeping bags (air matress), food, drinks, cooler, trash bags, matches, radio, flashlight/lantern, folding chairs, rain poncho, toiletpaper, 1st aid kit, towels, soap, bug repellent, and possibly some cards/board games to entertain.
