Calorie intake while on AAS?

I'm heading towards my first cycle now.. it's only about 2.5 weeks left..i was wondering how much calories do i need to take everyday and so on..
and why is calories so important? proteins would be more important or am i wrong? does calories convert to protein in the body??

Have a look on the diet board mate. Your nutrition is the most important thing, your just gonna waste ya money if you dont get it right IMO.

Just eat and eat often. I try to get 55g's of good protein every two hours. DOn't keep count of the calories, it's high I know

Yep - Diet, Sleep, Train...

In that order... literally, you are what you eat. As for caloritic intake, it all depends on your goals, your stats, and how your body metabolizes food.

If you don't know the difference b/w calories and protein you have no biz using AAS yet. Learn how to nail a diet first.

I know the difference, i'm just asking about how much a normal person would have to eat; the numbers for calories and so on

3500-4000 calories. At least 1g of protein per lb. of weight. Some people shoot for 1.5g of protein. They MUST be clean calories not big macs.
 
They is no such thing as a NORMAL person when it comes to diet........Diet is 90% on your entire cycle........bad diet = bad cycle........plain and simple.
 
When working with my athletes during a bulking cycle I first look at what they are eating now. Everyone's metabolism is different so there is no norm. When you take into account exercise frequencey, genetics, age, AAS, stimulants, etc., you can see how much the "norm" can vary from person to person. So, how much are you eating now?
 
I can eat how much i want, and then i mean 5 mcdonalds meals per day, and still not gain any fat.. i am slim and muscular.. i allso get hungry half an hour after ive eaten.. so i eat pretty much.. what's the difference between good calories and bad, as MAXPAIN said, big macs?..

Good cals are those that provide quality nutrients w/o a lot of extra saturated fat and simple sugars. McDonald's is bad, but 8 oz. of lean steak and a yam are good. See? What is your BF %?
 
How much do you weight? Obviously the more you weigh, the more you have to eat. I shoot for over 2g/protein per 1lb/bodyweight - coming from steak, chicken, milk, yogurt, eggs, and whey shakes.
 
How old are you? Sounds like me when I was younger .. if I were you, I would take advantage of your fast metabolism and eat as much as humanly possible - clean of course
 
No, 5'11", but the typical ectomorph when I was a teenager. I tend to put on weight a little more easier now - maybe because I'm eating so much more then back in the day.
 
sorry for asking these kind of questions, but how much did you weight when you were young and how much did weigh after you'r first cycle, and how much did you keep :)?
also, how much is 190cm in you'r measurement, i don't know the name of it, when you type 5,11 if you know what i mean..
 
No problem .. before I started lifting I was 140lb (19 y.o). After 3 years of training I got as high as 225 with some fat. Cut down to 195lb before my first cycle. After the cycle was over (including pct) I was at 215.

5'11" is 71 inches.
 
yeah, thanks for the answere's, but what's 190 cm if i want to type it like you do, if you'r height is 5,11 mine is: ? :):)
 
Thank you booey for answeres, but i was wondering how much 190cm is in you'r way of measurement.. guys on the board allways say their 6,11 or 5,11 or 5,4.. how much is 190 cm in that way if you know what i mean.. thanks:)
 
Yeah, I said 190cm is 6 foot 2 inches. You can write it many ways:

6'2"
6,2
6ft 2in
74 inches
190cm
etc,etc
 
yeah sorry, my computer slows down sometimes so it was 2 replys:) thank you, then i'm 6,2..and i will eat everything i see with good proteins:)
