lol... no, not tan- a few months ago i went to the new jersey shore and wanted to get a little tan before i went, so i went to a tanning booth for the minimum time and got burns on my stomach bad enough to need the ER and burn cream. then at the beach i forgot to put on sunscreen for the first hour i was in the sun (i'm talking new jersey, not puerto rico) and got sun poisoning with a fever and peeled.
SOOO, this past week i was in florida and slathered on a #30 every day. :)
and sadly, no sex on the beach. or anywhere for that matter. :(

anyway, sorry to hear about the burn. you must have awfully sensitive skin. im lucky like that, a few days in the sun and im honey chocolate :)

oh, and the sex too...but then again it would probably be pretty uncomfortable with a burn on your stomach, anyway. oh well :)

i am very sensitive to the sun and rather pale, but i think certain prescriptions make you more light sensitive.

the burn on my stomach was over the summer- my whole stomach had to be bandaged up and turned into one giant blister- it was GROSS.

it was. a few weeks later when i spent the week at the beach and got burnt AGAIN (after one HOUR in the sun)- i went out to dinner that night. I had a fever from the sun burn so even though i was RED and too hot to even touch and it was like 90 degrees out, i was sitting in this lobster house wearing a hooded sweatshirt and shivering.
My dad was dark skinned (mongolian) and could tan under a lightbulb. i got my mom's coloring. :(

oh. that whole thing is referred to oevr here as a severe photo reaction.

had a kid come into the pharmacy looking like that, and the mother wanted to take him on a beach holiday the next day, and wanted a cream :rolleyes:

i asked if she had a wetsuit for the poor kid, gee some people are silly

Wow I feel for ya.... that sounds terrible. I guess I'm lucky I always tan, I've only gotten 1 sun burn in my life when I was a kid.

omg, i would have been crying if i had to be in the sun- i could barely stand and i felt sick to my stomach. getting clothes on hurt and being out in the heat was torture, even though i felt freezing.
