Bulking, secret weapon

No not weed. :D Although that certainly helps.

...Breakfast cereal!! I swear to god, no matter how full I am, I can always down a double-helping of the stuff. Over the course of a day, at 300 cal/bowl, that definitely adds up.

So my meals look like this:

1) Eat solids until I absolutely can't

2) Switch over to breakfast cereal for 1-2 bowls

3) Maybe another glass of soy milk or a protein shake if the meal didn't have any meat in it

Been working so far...set a couple PR's two days ago. Bodyweight is up as well.
 
Here in Oz, Crunchy Nut Cornflakes are the most amazing thing I have ever tasted. If there was a box in my house it would last a day. They are simply too dangerous to have sitting in the pantry. Definately a bulking tool, but I'd get too fat way too quickly :D

I try to avoid those due to fat and sugar conetent, but I guess if I where big time bulking, I agree that they do go down nicley. How about adding some Protein powder to the milk as well....?

Yeah, great ad :) That add is the closest thing to SWAINING on our television sets.

Most cereals are low fat anyway. That's how the marketers like them :)

I wouldn't worry about adding protein powder to the milk. Just have a shake on the side instead. Both taste better that way!
 
That's funny.....I 've done that also. I think eating it last after all your other stuff lowers the gi of it some. Can't remember where I read that though.

I used to like raisin bran.....had some fiber in it also, which helps .....um.....processing all that other food.;)
Especially if you mix it with fiber 1.
 
I have a box of cocoa pebbles next to my bed on a tray table. My roommate laughs at me all the time but I know I grow a little more everyday from the overload. It just looks funny to have a tray table donated for cereal anytime. lol
 
I eat cereal pretty much every morning. It's some good cals, but it's like Chinese food - I'm hungry again like an hour later so I can eat again!

One cereal I can eat without milk is Frosted Mini Wheats. Man I can just sit there and munch on those like potato chips. If I'm reading a book or watching TV half a box is gone before I know it.
 
what's good is that i like the best quality stuff

honey bunch of oats, life cereal, all the fruity nut kinds, the almond kinds, etc

damn i'm hungry

I mostly do the cheerios. Medium GI carbs, oats no less...good stuff. Then the milk has some protein and fat.

I eat like 2 boxes a week.

Ok, even "Mr. Bulks on a CKD" has to agree with this one. Its pretty hard to beat a box of Oatmeal Crisp Almost for easy to eat carb cals during my carb up days.
 
hot cereal (malto meal), eggs, skim milk, and bananas in the morning. . .I need the heavy stuff to get me going lol.

As for dry cereal, it doesn't satisfy me. . .I have to eat an entire box to feel satisfied lol.
 
hell ya, cereal is damn good.. never take it for granted, I miss it so much when dieting :P

best type.. vector(YUM).. oatmeal is good too...

don't forget to drink the milk that is in your bowl....it contains alot of vitamins and minerals that come off the cerial...actually thats where most of it goes
 
Eating cereal again :) Lucky charms tonight bc my roomie came into my room and took the last of the cocoa's. Arrrrrr.

Late night eating is where it's at for me. I love to eat tremendous amounts of food. It benefits my training greatly. I can lift more weight and I feel better in general.

bake some brownies and drink down a half gallon of milk.

After finishing wrestling in HS, I was interested in gaining weight. I would drink a couple of beers and eat 2 peanut butter sandwiches before bed. That is one hell of a combination!!
 
casual, are you doing any cardio now? and all these posts are making me hungry. lol
