Bulking.. how many cheat days?

I know diamonddiceclay.. you're gonna say NO CHEAT DAYS :) I respect that.. I've been dieting for the past month, and have another month to go before I start bulking. I'm keeping it clean.

I'm just curious on if you allow yourself to at least one day a week to eat whatever u want... not for the WHOLE day, but one meal or something smaller that fills your appetite?
 
If cutting or maintaining I'll have 1 or 2 cheat meals a week.. If bulking I'll have 1 or 2 cheat days a week. Cheat meals I'll go pretty easy on the fat and carbs, but eat more than I usually would on my diet.. Cheat days I'll eat whatever whenever I want to, usually end up with a tummy ache later in the day..
 
I think one day a week is enough, even when bulking. Maybe add one cheat meal to that in addition, but that's it. Cheat meals on top of even the cleanest bulking diet can be dangerous if overdone.
 
im going with once a week right now while cutting, when bulking i went for two times a week and also was less strict of maybe eating like a handful of pretzels or so throughout the day.
 
yep once a week is fine.

People often think "yes bulking again, time to pack it away"
but you can't eat like that, you have to keep it clean, for the best results. I know i've gone from cutting phases to bulking phases which meant eating great......to...well just eating alot.
 
Everyone is different... I'll give you that.

What has worked best for me when cutting is cheating 1 meal every 2nd or 3rd day.

When bulking... I don't eat strict I focus more on calories. If i eat really heavy one day I'll kick back a bit the next day. But at least 1g of protein/day and a crap load of calories is what it all boils down to.
