This weeks focus outside of training has been on rest, recovery and minimal-to-none stress - before heading back to work next week to start the working year. I have been getting great sleep, plenty of naps and meals have been on time. The wife has also been joining me to train in the AM, while I focus on my morning cardio/walks.

Training has been good - I’ve also been hitting 10k steps minimum everyday.

Weight has gone up this week. But I’m not stressed about it. I’ll be starting to reduce calories next week and continue to do so over 4-6 weeks, to give myself a better starting point for my next push.

Will update full training write up with my end of week post.

@ChewedSleek that looks like a nice little treat right there. Nothing beats a good homemade brownie. I actually made some homemade hot chocolate this morning in the cold and it really tasted really good.

Week 28 update

Happy Sunday EF Brothers,

Hope you all had a great Xmas, enjoyed a break and some well earnt family time.

I only managed to get in a quick leg session on Christmas morning; 3 x sets on hack squat @ 120kg and 3 x sets of leg press @ 150kg.

I took my prepped meals with me for our family trip down the coast. So pretty niched stuck to my meal plan, bar some Xmas treats with family to celebrate.

Steps remained high, as I was playing and chasing my kids around and wrestling with nephews, nieces and my kids on the trampoline a fair bit.

Keen for AM cardio tomorrow morning and ready for a big week of training, before I start pulling my calories back a touch the following week to get myself ready to push up again.

Attached pics are my proats with Christmas Oreos, and some relaxed physique shots after training on Xmas eve.
