bulking and cardio... good idea ??

Currently in week 3 of test eth 500mgs/EW.
Had to cut the dbols short due to some sensative nips.

Now as far as bulking up, is it ok to throw in 30 min cardio after a hard workout? I work afternoons so my workout starts about 11pm. Go to bed at like 2am. I wake up around 11-12 and not always in the mood to do the morning cardio on an empty stomach.

I always feel like doing cardio after I work out. Is that ok or will it hinder my gains especially while on gear?

Also should I take my last protain shake after the workout prior to cardio or right after I finish both? Dunno if I'll feel like crap while running on a full stomach.

Cardio IMO should be done as you stated in the AM or whenever you wake up on a empty stomach and or before a workout like 20 mins or so to warm up... After a workout is counter productive.. And not to mention most of the time if you bust ur ass you shouldn't be able to move let alone run... Good Luck

I always do cardio unless im on a really heavy androgenic burst cycle(dont want to interefere with the Type 1 to type 2 muscle fiber conversions @ that point

the rest of the time Ill always do some sort of cardio

I like to work out...eat my post workout meal...few hours later I do some cardio...eat again

pre contest cardio get s alittle more crazy

i have found it best to do SOME cardio rather you are bulking or cutting, your heart NEEDS to be stong and healthy, not just your muscles, and a bit of cardio even when bulking makes you feel a LOT better

I agree with drrman. With doing so much resistance training your heart's chamber walls get thick and really strong. IT is important to do lots of cardio so the heart grows and the walls dont become too thick.

Well would it be wise to force myself to do AM cardio or can I just stick with a mild 20-25 min run post workout prior to bed. I'm sitting @ 210 lbs, 16% b/f. The love handles need a lot of work that is why I wanted to throw in the cardio. My diet is good as well

You're kind of cortadicting yourself bro. If your diet was good, there wouldn't be any love handles. Do cardio anytime you can a. for your health b. to help w/ calorie loss on a good diet.

cardio is great for all the reasons listed above. Great for keeping the heart healthy and to keep the blood flowing. I've found from personal experience that if I don't do cardio when I bulk, it is difficult to keep the water retention in check, it makes it that much more difficult to build up endurance when its time to cut, and if you let yourself go when bulking, you will find it very difficult to lose the extra weight around your stomach.

I still feel that you can get away with 20 minutes of cardio post-workout and you will be fine. Just crank the treadmill up to speed 4 and walk on an incline so as to get your heart rate up but you won't lose to much muscle mass.
