bubbles in syringe while injecting, can't get rid of em all!

I'm not saying that it can't hurt them, but it's also nothing to really freak about. A small amount of air in the muscle isn't going to do anything.

If air in your muscle would kill you, then why don't you die if you get a deep cut? A shitload of air gets in there if you get a nice deep gash.

Also, if you have ever had an IV you'd notice all kinds of smaller air bubbles going into your bloodstream. These get broken up pretty quickly as well as the fact that your blood is going to straight up absorb a lot of the gasses anyway (Your blood is designed to carry CO2 and Oxygen after all)

So, get the big bubbles out, but a little isn't going to hurt you.

The people that have heard of someone die almost always are referencing a "friend of a friend knows this guy that died".

But I'll agree with you, you shouldn't be injecting large amounts of air into you.

Um that would be first hand I have been around for 12 years and in that 12 years have heard and seen first hand the STUPID shit that guys do Yes little tiny bubbles wont kill you but your responce was just crazy "I shot half ass any way" it takes like 10CC to kill you bro did you know that a big enough BUBBLE which can be very small in your ass shoulder QUAD can stay there so when training and the muscle swells that Little bubble that has no where to go puts pressure on nerves, cause lose of feeling numbness HOW DO I KNOW becasue once apon a time I was new and listen to people and got the wrong advise OR miss understood what was said , that was a long time ago

It was how you posted your responce and the demeaner of the information !!

remember their are lots of guys that surf this board that read these posts and never ask questions and if they think air is ok than that information could harm someone

thanks to everyone who helped with this question, I hope I didn't cause a fight, but after reading everything I understand what everybody is saying and that I'm not alone and most importantly my question was answered. Thanks again to everyone, I seriously would not know where to turn other than this board regarding AAS, nobody around me has this much experience/knowledge, it is soo taboo, they almost think ur a crack head when u ask about air bubbles and what not. Anyways, stay strong! PEACE!

Humm let me see, when you aspirate little air bubbles come into the syringe, guess what it came out of your body, it is going to be ok if you pump a little bit back into your body. I really hope that if your injecting and hit a vein that you are injecting the gear first and not air, cause I just dont see how someone could get air in first because of gravity.

I can't seem to get rid of em all, there are really tiiiiiiiny, ones that sometimes don't go away, and I just end up injecting anyway after I wait 15 min for them to go away as much as possible, is this bad to do? It jus seems impossible to get ride of every single one especially the super tiny ones. Thanks for any helps.

P.S. sometimes I end up not using all the juice in the syringe b/c I let the bubbles go to the top plunger and I inject and let gravity help out.

P.P.S Thanks again for any info if this is bad for me.

Nothing to worry about. It would actually take about 1 or more cc's of air injected right into the vein to give you an embolism.

You guys inject intramuscularly with a 27 g? That's begging for one of those suckers to break off. 27 and 25 g is used for local infiltration. That's what we use to inject lidocaine before we suture someone or do an invasive procedure.

21 g should be the smallest size you use for an intramuscular injection.

I agree that drawing it up in a larger needle (18 g, blunt, filtered) will prevent some air bubbles from forming. The consequences of the air bubbles are pretty much miniscule, but there are risks. Drawing it up slowly will also help.

nothing to worry about at all, man its impossible to get them all out, you have to inject a lot of air into a vein directly to kill yourself bro. no worries

My doctor told me the whole bubble in the syringe thing is a farce and that it would take a lot of air injected directly into a vein to cause major problems. I asked him because I was getting an I.V. once (Directly into my vein and I watched about a 1/2" bubble travel down the tube and was freaking out as it neared my body thinking I was going to die as I watched my life pass before me. Quite funny in hindsight, but needless to say I lived. I would ask a doctor that went through years of schooling and years of practice about it if it worries you. But I am not worried my doc made me feel comfortable and the fact I watched air go into my own veins I have no worries at all. but to be safe it definately does not hurt to minimize them.
