Everytime I go to sleep, I end up waking up a few times in the middle of the night with numb body parts. Especially my chest, arms and hands. What does this mean? High blood pressure?

From what I can gather you're having circulation problems. I don't know much about the subject but try taking some aspirin before you go to bed - thins the blood cause better circulation. Is it almost like the bodypart fell asleep?

Fall asleep? YES! It is usually my pecs, forearms and especially my hands.

OH! And delts too! Can't sleep on my side because my delt will start to fall asleep. And by sleep on my side, my pecs meet together...they to go to sleep. And of course the hands too. Seems like the ONLY way things to do fall asleep is when I sleep on my back. But I cannot do that. I enjoy sleeping on my side. I have a hard time falling asleep on my back.

It means your blood is too thick, and/or your circulation is bad.

Sounds like you need bloodthinners.

You should think about donating blood, it will lessen the load of blood volume.

Also, your mattress can make a difference in this to. Get a softer matress. That use to happen to me all the time tll I went out and bought a softer mattress. Now no problems.

According to my bloodwork, red blood cell count is fine.

Actually, when I sleep in the other bedroom that has a harder mattress, I sleep a little better. The softer mattres in the master bedroom really makes the numbing worse.
