Bringing gear on a plane

I am travelling domestic and would put it in my bag I check in, not carry on

u.s flights are risky but domestically your chances are better than internationally.

I'm curious... what do they do about diabetics and sharp needles in the passenger cabin...

anyone know?

Pack in into a gun barrel or a knife handle. With the Federal security clowns they have hired, you'll make it through with no problem! Now, if you tried to hide it inside a can of hairspray or anything else non threatening, they'll get ya in a second! :D

Seriously, I agree to just skip it and leave it at home.

leave it at home- i'll keep it safe for you if youd like :D

i agree with austintx, how long are you going to be gone, etc. just take it right before you leave and right after you come back or something.

Its not worth the risk since 9/11 and with the war, etc. if they catch a preloaded syringe and ask whats in it, what are you going to tell them?

Use a sterile visine bottle, and pack it with your cosmetics. As for the needle im clueless. Try mailing it where your goin.

I think it's very dangerous at this time....maybe toy could be lucky and pass without a problem, but in the other hand if somebody see some strange liquid on your bag or whatever, they will not think in roids...they will think in some chemical dangerous shit. In 2 seconds you'll have 4 M-16 over your head...

It's not hard to get your stuff on the plain, like you said just put it in your check in bags -- i went to vegas for spring break and had to stand in line to have by bags opened and checked, all their going to check for is bombs and shit -- Moral of the story -- Take whatever you want besides bombs -- keefer

I travel alot for work and when on cycle I never have a problem. No hassle with pins as long as you check your luggage. People even other than diabetics frequently require injections and traveling with a needle is no different. When I travel with orals I use an old prescription medical bottle. The inspectors can visually inspect a somewhat clear (brown) prescription bottle, but are prohibited from opening it without probable cause. Lastly I use a plain vial for oils labeled as lemon oil fragrance. I put in with my toiletries and check in. Remember the new FAA regs are meant to maximize passenger safety, not to inspect your personal belongings looking for something illegal.

It will be a 4 day trip and I would be doing fina t EOD. I ould give myself a shot on Wen, leave that night and then return Sunday evening. i hate messing with my levels and would feel better if i could give myself the shot on Fri at my destintion. If I shot 150mg's on Wen would that compensate for not being able to do it on fri?
