Hey - just wanted to chime in and say to be careful with ramping up aerobic exercises like running to prepare - don't increase mileage too quickly, stress fractures are common in new recruits; would suck to get there and have an early injury such as that. I suffered from a femoral neck fracture about 3 years ago (basically a broken hip) which is most common in military trainees. Something like that really puts you out for months Sorry, I know it's a little off-topic. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
Actually no, it was 100% on topic for me, and it's my thread so perfect! haha I appreciate it! Im just gonna run about a mile and a half for the first week or 2, push ups til fail x3, and maybe some sit ups. But I want to be getting 6-8 miles on the treadmill
