BP question. . .

I've been on GH for only about 10 days now. When I checked my BP last night, the top number (107) was down about 15 points from a couple of weeks ago and the bottom number (63) was down about 10 points. I know that GH can have a positive effect on your BP, but can it work that fast (in only 10 days)??

I doubt it very much that it is from growth hormone. GH is not known to decrease BP in adults. I doubt it if there is any study of GH relating to BP in adults. Clinically, GH would be given to adults only in replacement doses (for deficiency states).

Small variations in BP are very common.
You masy have lost weight (fat). You may also be eating less salt. Both factors decrease BP.

I disagree,

My BP usually stays around 138/82. While not to bad for my age (40) I am what docs consider borderline. I have been on GH for the last 3 months and my BP is considerably lower. Well within the normal range 118/68. This is not my first dance with GH and I noticed this the last few times I was on GH. My wife was on BP meds for two years. She is not now. She uses 1.5 IU mon/wed/fri. I have no medical proof but it works for us.

never heard of gh to lower bp, but its still not studied or at least not published as it should be... interesting to hear... more power to you..

Alcohol also significantly increases blood pressure.
There is small effect of smoking too

Cardio exercise may also slightly decrease BP.

i have a couple of beers on friday night and saturday night, i don't smoke and i've been doing at least 30 minutes of fairly intense cardio per day for the last 15 years or so. . .

i've read some information from a number of studies that suggests that gh can have a positive effect on bp. . .i just didn't think it would happen in a week and a half. . .
