Bowflex selecttech adjustable dumbells

Powerblocks are better but more expensive. Personally I think it would be ok. Not my first option but I dont like home equipment anyway.

About two years ago I bought a similar product for much less at Walmart. It is cheaper than buying 4 different sets of DB's, and takes up less storage space, which in a homegym is a pretty legit feature. The spring loaded pin you pull out to adjust the weight is a bit of a PITA though. You can almost never get it to move to the correct setting on the first try.

I actually own these. I bought them 2 years ago when I had serious tendonitis in spots and thought I would never be able to lift heavy again. Also for my wife.

It really depends on your size, goals ect... For a small person who is a beginner, yes. For a woman, yes. For a teenager yes. For someone who uses AAS, NO WAY. There are a shit ton of selectable weights up to 52.5 lb. If thats really heavy for you then yes they will be great. I personally warm up with 50lb DB's so they are of no use to me.
As far as consrtuction, functionality, ease of use, they are second to none. It really pains me to say that about a company that makes IMHO, garbage home gyms "BOWFLEX". But the DB's really are great. The selector is tight and clicks into place and stays there. The DB's slide in and out of the holders effortlessly. I tried every set of selectables they had and they were all garbage in comparison. Bowflex DB's were at least $100 more than all the others. But The others really were just SHIT.
Not to pimp bowflex stuff cause all the shit is overpriced.

I know of a pair that's about 5 years old, spent their entire life outside, in the arizona heat, sun and weather. Lots of wear and tear, but they still function fine.
