Bonds is a juicer

Not to be a stick in the mud, but MLB has (I assume) rules against using steriods. There's nothing wrong with it, imo, but if Bonds is juicing that amounts to cheating and is very un-sportsmanlike.

They have rules against it?

I think that they do now...and it is slightly above a slap on the wrist.

I don't believe that they tested or anything last year or the years before that. I may be wrong though...I don't know much about baseball.

CLint is correct.

They have tested for years.

THG was NOT on the list at that time.

SO now they are going back to re-test Bonds samples to see if thg was present.

You cant retro-actively enforce a new standard.

I dont care if he gets banned or not, but I think it is obvious he did juice. I honestly wouldn't give 2 shits if he was on juice or not on juice. I think it is pretty clear he was involved with steroids in some shape or form. Now do I care? No, but I think he has been juicing. Shouldn't call SolidG a retard just for stating his opinion. He is allowed to hate Bonds and this is a chat board afterall.

Piss on Barry Bonds juice or no juice he is still a prick.

Flabbyg's opinion, is thay BB should be stripped of his records. My opinion is, that he is a flabby retard! If he is allowed to hate Bonds on account of being allowed his own opinion, then I'll back my "retard" accusations with the same arguement. :D

B True... you are right. There was no testing for steroids, but they still have not worked out the details as to how they are going to administer the testing. The players association is fighting it all the way.

Honestly, if Bonds juiced, it does not sully his achievements in my eyes. He is an incredible talent. If he was on a constant cycle his injuries would have mounted by now and he would be retired. Steroids are really not that beneficial to a baseball player for the long haul. It may give you a Caminiti like MVP year, but look at the price he paid. He was a physical wreck after that year of constant AAS use and retired shortly after.

No matter how much someone juices it does not make you have the patience to walk 200 times a year.

Actually, MLB will not allow the re-test of old samples because of an agreement that was set with the players union at the time.

I never said I did not like bonds.

Bonds is very exciting to watch.

I just wish that he would not of used roids, it really does cheapen the sport.

Why is it that professional athletes who use or have used steroids shouldn't be allowed to play professional sports? I've never quite understood that.

There have always been tests but they didn't do anything about it because it fell below their range. The latest testing percentage came back above 5%. So now there will be standardized testing for all steroids in MLB. They cannot do it retro but will retest everyone. They will update their list for all banned substances. So now this THG will be on that list as well.

They should fight it all the way. Especially now that the records are not protected and the Feds are using them to go after the folks. I hope they sit down on the issue even to the point of striking. ;)
