i worked it out so he could have one day off. his cardio schedule was for 25 mins the first 2 weeks.. then it was increased to 35.... and so on and so on till he could do a full hour of non stop cardio vascular.. i explained to him what this would do, how it would effect his body, etc. i had him doing cardio 4 times a week first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. like i was saying.. he didnt take any suppliments so i didnt have him on a fat preserving suppliment like glutamine.this kid was more intrested in getting inshape or "ripped" as he liked to say.... his lifting schedule was 4 times a week as well.. upper body- lower body- upper body- lower body.... rep range was 12-15.

So, you had this poor kid doing 1 hour of cardio training 4 mornings a week on an empty stomach, in addition to lifting both upper and lower body twice per week each with a rep range of 12-15. We all know high reps help "tone," right?
Poor kid must have been as catabolic as someone in a concentration camp.

Anyway, I'm sure the fine folks over here at elite would rather hear fingernails on a chalboard than have one of their threads morph into a "Hagy Schoolyard Name Calling 'Fest." Out of respect for them, this will be my last post. I just wanted to give them a fair warning about what a fool you are, that you're a racist, and your "advice" is more worthless than tits on a nun.

Did you advise this? If you don't remember specifically, is this something you'd advise someone to do?

i didnt have the kid doing cardio.. THEN lifting... 2 days out of the week, he did both on the same day... but his cardio was in the morning on an empty stomach( if he couldnt do it, he would have a glass of oj or something)... afterwards, he would hydrate himself and grab something to eat.... later on in the day, he would lift... about 1-1.5 hours before he would have a pre workout meal... i had him eating 5-6 smaller meals a day. about half way through, he did start using protein powder, so i adjusted his diet accordingly.

im sorry if i made it sound like he was doing cardio AND lifting on an empty stomach

now i dont know if this kid followed everything exactly.... i told him... that if he thought he found something else to add or subtract that he thought would work better... then he was more than welcome.. cause he is the one who knows his body the best

It's irrelevant whether or not he lifted immediately following his cardio. What's the logic behind having a complete novice perform 1 hour of cardio on an an empty stomach four times a week? What's the logic in having him perform 2 lower body and 2 upper body workouts per week. What's the logic in having him perform 12-15 reps? Are you saying that high rep workouts "tone" muscles? That high reps "bring out the cuts?" These are my points exactly. You don't know enough to make a physique change on your own body (see the posted pics, and the ones of you on bb.com wearing a sweatshirt to hide your obese body). You have no business advising anyone else how to change theirs. It's irresponsible.

Hmmmm....well, if this is true, I wish biglifts good luck on the Training board. We tend to be a tad unforgiving over there :) .

Oh, if he sticks around long enough, you'll see more outrageous shit than that out of biglifts. We all know that bb.com is full of teens that talk out of their ass. Well, knowing that, realize that over there, they've had all they can stand of bigliftsCNU. In a sea of idiots, he stands tall as a laughing stock. Why do you think he's taken up residence over here??

you obviously didnt see where i said he started out at 25 mins... and he worked his way up.... and it was only the last 2 weeks( more like 1.5 weeks) of his 14 week transformation that he did cardio for an hour.

obese??? hahaha hardly. let me post another pic from the same photo shoot OVER 3 years ago.. and maybe you will see its the lighting... remember.. i had only been training for one year before those pictures from a weight of 160 lbs... oh yes.. jackass.... I WAS BULKING!!!!

i thought you said the post before this was your last one?

i dont see a problem here... this kid was a beginner... he was circuit training his lower and upper body and his cardio was moderate. i mean... this wasnt a complicated diet workout schedule... ala chad nichols or somethign... this was to get this guy out there and exercising... it was very basic..

.... at first...the kid was circuit training 2 a week and doing cardio 2 a week from what i remember... and then we worked up to 4 times a week for each... do i know he did it??? no.. he said he did.. for all i know.. he did his 2 a week for both cardio and lifting.
