Bodybuilding.com's forums suck ass

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. I agree the teen board sucks over on bb.com, lots of childish behavior....however there are some very intelligent cats over on the steroid board. No matter what board you go to, you will get mostly dumbasses, I mean the general population is not too bright. Just depends on what you focus on....I mean if I wanted to I could find negative aspects for every board out there. But it makes more sense to frequent many boards and take advantage of the benefits each has to offer.

your right.. about 8 months ago.. i just got fed up with it. there was sooooo much bull crap. I was helping this kid who wasnt very popular and was overweight, got him involved in sports, and on a regular lifting and cardio schedule... cleaned up his diet, and he took no suppliments except for a mulit.... and he finally got down to a point where i would say he was at 9-10%. the whole procedure was going to be posted on the bb.com mainpage as a transformation process... but we decided not to send it in. i still talk to the kid all the time... I talk to alot of teens online from bb.com.......... kids who have ?'s..or just want to discuss their problems....... i also have the SN's of older guys who i can learn from.

your right.....bb.com has lots of postive aspects... alot of smart people are on that boad, but some have big heads......but the teen section is crap.....and it eventually drove me to just want to only post in the misc section for a long time..

time for a board change :D

Here is a link to BigliftsCNU’s picture. You tell me if you think he could “help” someone reduce his or her body fat to the 9% range. If he possesses this vast array of knowledge, don’t you think, just maybe, he’d apply some of it to his own physique?? He posted some more recent pictures, but they were equally disappointing.

obviously this is an idiot from bb.com that has only been registered for the last couple of months... I helped lots of people with their diet, physiques, etc... my other name over there was joehagyHH. obviously this person doesnt know that.. all my posts on bigliftsCNU have been in the misc section........... with my other name... i helped lots of people. Big Cat, a person that some speak highly of over here, invited me to join a group called the HellHearts or the HH.... it was a group of individuals who possesed knowledge ( for me.. i was just starting, but had the ability to learn and grow even more) who would help run the board and make sure no false information was given out.. and to really help people on the boards. so that is why the HH is on the end of my name.

FIRST OFF... the picture this person provided was me at age 16 after only a YEAR of training. i was about 165 before i started lifting.. and in those pics i was round 240-245 lbs. Now i dont know about any of yall... but after a year of training, i would like to think i look good. so basically this is me.. 3 FREAKING YEARS AGO!!! as for what i look like... yes i have some fat on me... but that is because i was bulking for goodness sake... i have som pics from that same photo shoot 3 years ago that can show you my bodyfat was no higher than 15%. it looks higher in that pic... but i think the lighting really screwed in the pic..... but the point is... after a year of training, learning on my own, through trial and error... i would like to think i did okay.

as for my other pics.. the ones i recently posted...... for lats.. i used the hammer strength machine( you just add 45's plates , just like on a olympic bar).... and i can do 325 or so for 10 reps on that machine... on a reg lat pull machine.. im up to 285 for 10 reps.... so one day in the gym... i was using the hack squat machine for squats... some guy wanted to work in with me.. and started doing calve raises on them... so i tried them.. and worked with him.... and i could really feel the movement.. and my calves were totally shocked... so then like the next week, i maxed out on these two lifts and i was really excited with my results... so i shared it with my FRIENDS on bb.com... well there were people who didnt believe me, and wanted proof... so i took some pics. when they saw the pics... instead of saying " you did what you said you could do" they said.... " oh those are machines.. it doesnt matter."- when all along they knew the movements were on machines...


i offered to post pics of me benching 225 19 times....... but unless i post a video somehow.... no one will believe me


this is why i didnt post my pictures on bb.com for the longest time... i didnt post that picture of me at age 16 till i was 18... because EVERYONE MAKES SUCH A DAMN BIG DEAL ABOUT PICS... AND FOR SOME REASON.. THEY THINK THE BIGGER YOU ARE.. THE SMARTER YOU ARE. its bullcrap! your size doesnt determine your knowledge

well he sent me pics of himself and his stats. so what i did is worked with his height and weight and developed how many calories he should be taking in and what %( carb/fat/protein). this kid was lazy... somehow i had to motivate him to become more physically active and socially active. I worked on a cardio and lifting schedule for him... i worked it out so he could have one day off. his cardio schedule was for 25 mins the first 2 weeks.. then it was increased to 35.... and so on and so on till he could do a full hour of non stop cardio vascular.. i explained to him what this would do, how it would effect his body,etc. i had him doing cardio 4 times a week first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. like i was saying.. he didnt take any suppliments so i didnt have him on a fat preserving suppliment like glutamine.this kid was more intrested in getting inshape or "ripped" as he liked to say.... his lifting schedule was 4 times a week as well.. upper body- lower body- upper body- lower body.... rep range was 12-15. i talked to him about recovery, nutrition, training, etc..... at first he lost 3-4 lbs the first week.. that was expected... then on, he was only losing about 1-1.5 lbs a week.....which is good, cause anymore, and he would be losing muscle. there was a point, where he was experiencing some aneorixic( sp?) tendencies, and lost 5lbs in one week....... i explained to him.. that probably 4 lbs of that was muscle... so that cleared up that situation. so as he progressed, he sent me new pics... i was very postitive, because i saw definate changes... and it was important for me to be positive cause he was negative.. he didnt see any changes... i explained to him that it was cuase he saw his body EVERYDAY. i didnt... so as he progressed... i tweeked his diet and training, as his bodyweight decreased. and at the end of 14 weeks.. i sent him an email with his original pic and his last pic at week 14.... and the only thing i typed in the subject was " LOOK" with a big smiley face. i really think it made his day.

as for his social life... i got him into sports.... he choose lacrosse, an excellent sport. lots of running, and lots of friendships he could develope. as being an overweight child and a kid who didnt have alot of friends( nobody wnats to be friends with a county hick/ redneck), i really felt like i was not only helping him, but helping myself. and the point where i really felt happy for him, is when he told me he was going to go out on his first date on a friday night of that week.

so thats the general idea of what we went through... alot of motivation... alot of change, and alot of hard work on both sides....... but in the end.. it was worth it.


which leads me to my next project......... myself getting down to 9-10 % before our first match in tennis... as well as helping a fellow teamate getting down to that same bf before the end of the season... and helping another teamate add some lean muscle
