I'd say '82 & '86 - when they won National Championships were among a few seasons better than '91................

when my brother was playing
he was starting in his 2nd season

IMO the 1994 squad was the best PSU team ever
3 players drafted in the top 10
but the following year PSU had 11 offensive players drafted as the rest of that explosive 1994 offense graduated

that '94 squad destroyed everyone
but poor ole tom osborne hadn't won a national championship yet
so they voted nebraska #1

both teams were perfect yet not even a co-championship
I think paterno has 6 undefeated seasons and in only one of them did PSU win the national championship
the 1986 squad

'94 Nebraska was NEVER mentioned.

ueah,.....even though I'm from Boston - when it comes to College Football, my favorite team has always been PSU.
