i went to the doctor, can someone help me with this

Testosterone, Serum 781 ng/dl 241-827
( this is high correct?) i had a question to as weather this high testosterone actually helped building muscle, or is there a more important indicator as to how much testosterone is being used? would i have to get free and bound testosterone tested?

Bilirubin, Total 1.7 mg/dl 0.1-1.2
this is high too, i was taking nolv and arimidex soon before these tests, does anyone know if they could have caused this to be high?
Glucose, Serum 64 mg/ml 65-109

this is low, but is this anything to worry about?

HCG, beta subunit, qnt, serum <5 normal is <10 ?? i dont understand what this means. thanks if anyone can help me with any of these answers, thanks

Test levels are in the high-normal range,but still quite acceptable.Did you use orals in your last cycle?That may be the reason behind the high bilirubin blood content.You could try running a few hundred milligrams of r-ALA a day for a couple of weeks,as it has repairing aspects on hepatic stress.

I should start charging to interpret blood results (Joke).
I assume this is total test -- if so, then you are in the normal range towards the high end. This doesn't necessarily mean anything--you need to know the free testosterone to really know what's going on.

The bilirubin is a concern. You can have mild elevations in ALT and AST (liver enzymes) without much concern, but when bilirubin starts to move upward it indicates liver damage. Probably caused by nolv and arimide. Should avoid liver stressors for a while and have it retested.

Your glucose is probably ok.

HCG is ok.

thanks guys. could the arimidex affect my test levels? i probably should have waited longer before i took these tests, but i only waited about 3 days after stopping the arim and nolv before i got the bloodwork done. i also got my estrogen tested, and it was normal.. i was only on those drugs for about a week or so..

arim. shouldne affect test levels, but i dont know. i do know that nolvadex often shows up as estrogen in bloodwork, so to get an accurate estrogen reading, you should stop nolv for a couple weeks

big bump to an old thread.

i went to the doctors again, got my bilirubin checked again, and it is high again, also got my free testosterone checked

1.4 H mg/dl 0.1-1.2

testosterone free direct 14.6 pg/ml 9.3-26.5

Estradiol 49pg/ml 0-53

fsh 4.4 miu/ml 1.4-18.1

LH 4.6 mie/ml 1.5-9.3


prolactin was normal. I went and got these checked again in reference to some gyno i have. my doctor thinks my readings are normal, but obvious High normal estrogen isnt good. And my Free testosterone is Rather LOW isnt it? My total tstosterone seems to be high normal, but my free is low. Could my high normal esterogen and low normal free testosterone cause gyno?

About the bilirubin, should i be worried? i havent done a cycle in a while, well over a year.

Nolvadex can cause liver stress if used for extended periods.

The estrogen result is in the high end of normal and this is probably why the gyno is popping up. The bilirubin looks like it is coming down -- probaby caused by the nolvadex -- not too sure about whether arimdex can case elevated liver readings or not -- will have to check. I think this is a good example of estrogen--induced gyno and the importance of free test level measurements.

i havent been on nolv or armin very long! i dont know how that could have caused that high bilirubin levels.

another things, Why is my free test so low compared to my total test? and is there anything i can take to get more of my testosterone free?

Were you taking a high dose of nolv or arim? perhaps the two combined was a stressor for the liver. Your free test is probably low due to increased SHBG as a reasult of high estrogen levels. No real way to "free up" the test other than to knock it off -- perhaps with proviron.
