Blood Level Help...

Ok, first.

I just got blood levels back and my TSH came back at 4.7. Which indicates a hypothyroidism or close to it. The doctor did not seem overly concerned with the results and kind of blew it off. Asked if I fasted and all that good crap. I was contemplating supplementing myself with T3 for a few months and try the test again, to see what happens. I have read some stuff and it appears when supplementing with T3 that 12.5mcg is a sufficient dose, but that seems awfully low to me considering what some of you guys take for "treatment" Any input here would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any factors to consider that can throw your TSH results off?

Changes in temperature, diet, altitude, general health, medications and stress influence TSH secretion. TSH also falls in illness (euthyroid sick syndrome, endogenous depression

how about sharing so if this ever comes up again people might have another option to look at.

:)

Well TREN can do this. I have been taking the Tren-TFO and after talking to Needto, he said he does not see why the Tren-TFO would not have the effect as well. So it very well could be from the TFO. However much like Tren- it should go back to normal.

Low carb dieting suppresses the thyroid, so your TSH will elevate.
