blood after injection..

So I go to my doctors office as usual to get my test c. 200mgs/1ml and as usual the nurses are fucking morons..

he sticks me, I don't feel much.. hurts a little..

I don't know if he aspirated.. I was looking forward and he injected my glute..

he pulls out the needle and it has blood on it.. he says I'm bleeding "a little" and gets paper towels to wipe my ass off with.. how sterile..

anyways he put a tiny band-aid on me and sends me on my way..

I took the band-aid off about an hour ago.. it was soaked in blood..


Are these really bad signs?

I've felt a little light headed today, but nothing serious.. A little dizzy but not too bad..

What are the chances of this being a major fuck-up?
Would it have happened pretty soon after? it's been like 4.5hrs..

well, from personal experience, if he hit a vein, you would or let's say - I felt a wierd flushed feeling and I think I coughed. felt wierd briefly. it's been a long time. Can't remember where I read, but I think your fine unless you inject like 10ml of air into your bloodstream. Now as far as his sterile practice and you getting an infection, I'm not sure. tell him next time to aspirate. I mean, doesn't he know how to inject juice. dumb a** dr.s

I have got blood AFTER the pinning a few times in the last 3 weeks. Aspirated, so it must be from a vein on the way in. Gives me the shits to see it, but it doesnt bleed much. I would never look away while someone stabbed a needle into me, even during blood tests, and I hate that shit. Dude, best to keep an eye on it from now on. If he wiped with a non sterile object, then he may be a total noob, and was a bit careless.
Keeping an eye on people, tends to make them either nervous, or honest. Let's hope it's 'honest'.
