I think there will always be conflict because America is full of so many cultures. We focus on the physical attributes that distinguish a culture but it is really the difference in culture. So when their is conflict their is resolution. We will evolve to do one of two things:
1.Dominate and whipe out opposing cultures
2. Grow a brain and live in peace.

Given humanities track record, who knows what will happen? It starts with you.
