Hmmm...well, perhaps just try. When someone around here doesn't like me, I generally just try to avoid talking to them, about them, etc unless they just won't allow me to post without coming and hassling me. All three of you are nice people. If you think she got overly sensitive, just allow some time to pass and then talk to her about whatever the thread is about.

I know I sound like Polly Pureheart here...lol. I've just always hated girl fights...lol.

Okay, I'm going to post an opinion that is going to be really unpopular, but here it goes. When starfish first came into some thread that mentioned seals a while back, I thought that she was being overly sensitive, and I said so. Then, I started to take notice of her posts more. Generally, she talks about things that interest me, as well, such as diving, the water, PLEASANT CONVERSATION. I haven't noticed her call anyone out or even have a ounce of mean sarcasm in her, anywhere. Now, anytime that her name gets mentioned, the same people come into the thread and talk about how crazy she is and how she thinks everything is about her. Well, if you follow her around and keep bringing up past disagreements, she is right!

Frisky and Stilleto, you know I like you, but I'm not one to mince words. I don't like the Starfish pile-ons. She is an easy target for some people, and the bigger thing to do is leave her be.

Redguru, you are generally a very intelligent chap, but somewhat malignant in personality. Quit following her around.

Since you are somewhat new around here, I'll let that slide. You'll find that any reference to a few words brings her tirades out. When she comes out to post, her knight in shining tie-dye also arrives in the thread to spout his rebukes of all who dare to challenge her. She rarely if ever engages is intelligent debate on subjects that seem to be dear to her heart and when she does it is a copy and paste job without reference to the person that did the work. A thread which starts out as a rational debate rapidly devolves into entropy upon her arrival.

Didn't mean to get you all riled up. Of course, I don't have the time nor inclination to search every thread which has contained the two of you. While I haven't been here for long, I have seen lots of her posts, which were just nice friendly conversation. I have also seen plenty of threads where people come in and spew lots of venom at her for no apparent reason. Now, I'm not taking her word for stating who was hounding her or whatever. I am saying this only from posts that I have seen with my own eyes.

You don't mince words, and I like that about you. I don't either. If I feel like a fight is old hat, I'll say so. This was about aap, biteme, and starfish and then the frisky, stilleto, and starfish fight comes up again.

I think recently in another thread I was in, Starfish posted up and you came behind the post and said something about her and the fight ensued once again. I recall saying something to the effect of "okay, you two just don't post another thing about one another, and let's move on." It didn't work.

Both you and Starfish have said some pretty mean things to each other. Why can't you just let it go? Just ignore her presence in threads, and she should do the same. Let it roll like water off a ducks back. You are a busy woman with lots on your plate. Why even care about it anymore? The fighting between so many of the women on the board isn't needed. Had she brought you up out of the blue on this thread, I would have said the same thing to her.
