First, let me say that I am on a ship and using a 50 cent per minute computer. This has probably been covered before but I don't have the real time to search thru archives. I apologize for probably being repititive, but I need some answers.

I have always had natural gyno to a small degree since puberty. Now that I have done a few cycles, its somewhat worse, but not HORRIBLE. Either way, I am trying to find out how to get rid of it....I'm assuming surgery. Here is my question...

Has anyone had the surgery? What is the approximate cost? If I have it, will I have to be MORE careful in the future to avoid gyno due to my genetic (assuming) pre-disposition to gyno? Can anyone point me in the right direction to find info on the surgery or doctors who specialize? I can travel anywhere in the US to have it done.

i recommend you try medication forst before trying surgery. An antiestrogen of course. Some docs advise radiation therapy, but i wouldnt go that route unless it is a last resort.

My brother had it back in the late 80's. The surgery cost a little over $1,000 back then but I hear it cost $2,000 now. You couldnt tell he had the surgery about 6 months after and you still cant.

I don't think anti-estrogen's will cure gyno....only prevent it. My slight gyno which has now become just a bit worse happened about 10 years ago during puberty. I don't think anti-estrogens will make it go away.....tell me if I'm wrong.

So, does anyone know of any resources online to start looking for a doctor that can do the surgery?

I´m NOT talking about early onset....I´m asking about how to remove small gyno from over 10 years ago which happened naturally during puberty. Anti-e´s ain´t gonna help that at all.

try the antiestrogen........the mammary glands will always respond to estrogen or antiestrogen. It wont hurt at all. I am not saying it will work 100%, but it is always worth a shot before going invasive.
