If you lost 30lbs in a month, thats like loosing a pound per day. 1lb per week is a safe way to loose FAT and usually happens when you put yourself in a calorie deficit of 500 cals per day (3500cals/wk). Basically you are saying you are in a calorie deficit of 3500cals.day. If you continue on at this rate you will be dead in a few months.
