Sambuca is the one seen most in the US, at least that is what I notice...

There is also an Italian version floating around I see every once in awhile...

In fact, when I was in Dubai, UAE... I was served a glass of water and a shot of the licorice liquor... I was told to mix the two - the mixture turns milky white... WIERD...

Anyway.. there are a bunch of these around...

Not just the greeks, italians, or arabs...

Sambuca can be found at almost any store that sells liquor in the states if you want to subject yourself to such torture...

BTW Bfold, what's the country like now that the greek have won the european soccer (or football as you will come to know it now that you live in Europe....lol) championship? are you planning to see the olympics as well?

They support ALL their athletes...no matter what sport. They know near everything about them.

I watch near all the Olympics live on TV here. It has been a blast...except I don't understand what they are saying...lol.

that's what i heard as well, real supportive and gentle people. this one dutch athlete forgot his silver medal in a cab (d'oh) and the cab driver returned it. to me, that seems like something you'd never see anywhere else.

He is a God here...seriously. I live on the Island of Cyprus (if you look on a map) in the town of Limassol. We have our own government and aren't part of Greece actually...but he is a God here too. They know everything about him as well as ALL Greek and Cypriot athletes.
