Big trouble with prop

Yo fellas. I need a bit of input. I started my first cycle a while back and ran into some trouble with prop.

The cycle was: 100mg prop eod (12 weeks)
50mg proviron ed
pct was going to be what's in the sticky above and i was going to use hcg (start 3rd week until pct)

stats:
30 something, 5'9, 190lbs, 7%bf, good diet, 15 years lifting and sport training

here's the problem: I had to shut it down after 3 sticks as I couldn't continue with the soreness. The pain was debilitating! I followed the protocol for sterility, heated the oil, massaged the inject site after, and worked out the pinned muscle afterward. I still couldn't handle it. Maybe I'm allergic to the prop!? I had a 6 inch circle of soreness/redness for about 4 days each stick.

Possible solutions:
Switch to test e or c...or...cut the prop back to 50-75mgs eod and cut with sterile oil. My goals for the cycle are strength and speed increase with low weight gain and faster recovery from training.

you could try 50mg ed. that may help a little... or dillute with grapeseed
 
you have virgin thighs, or glutes or where ever you shoots.

Prop is painful - for a while. More so then Cyp or Enth.
It just takes a while for your muscles to get used to the BA,
or alcohol in Test. Plus the needle sticks will cause pain.
Heat up your gear to burn off some of the excess BA.
It will get better....Personally I would go with Test C or E
when running alone for long term. 10-12 weeks. :artist:
 
why the hell would anyone use test prop as their first cycle?

It's kinda hard getting used to pinning if you're going to start with a compound that you have to inject 4 times a week....just sayin

I did :evil: and i loved it. I love Test prop mabye i am crazy. :chomp: My muscles got used to the injection pain in about 4 weeks. I didnt ever have any kinda sorness that he was talking about though and i would want to sounds painful. Find a good source that has smooth prop that is all i am gonna say. Oh and dont go mentioning sources or where you got your prop k or where you can get some. That is what thesourcecheck is for. :)
 
a small percentage 5-10% complain of pain and have to stop use with prop.

I hate short esters...too much of a hassle...test cyp or test enanthate for me.

I went with test prop first go because i thought i was a tough guy and wanted some quick-fast kick.HA! I stopped laughing when I couldn't walk! Any need to cut test e or c with sterile oil?

Test Prop is good for the fast kick you do start to notice gains faster then you would with Test Enth or Test Cyp. I have had some inject pain from prop but not to where i could not walk from it i guess i am one of the lucky ones. But like Alcatraz said i think i might just start going with a longer ester because pinning eod can get annoying but it kinda grew on me and i looked forward to pinning who knows lol.

Honestly, if you're pinning eod with test prop, that's 3 days a week. I think you should be pinning no less than 4 days a week with test prop. That's what I do.

I had someone inject test prop ed for 20 weeks...now that's a scary thought

Isnt it 3 days one week and 4 days the other week which is why when you pin prop eod @100mgs its averages 350mgs EW

mon,wed,fri,sun,tue,thur,sat,mon,wed,fri,sun.......etc you get the idea it looks like 4 days to me i have been gettin nice results pinning prop eod. how would you pin it 4 times ew what days would you pin on ive always been told to shoot prop either ED or EOD.

A lot of people I know do the 3day one week 4 day another week....I just pin 4 days :p 400mgs ew instead of 350mgs ew.

I used to pin Monday, Wedn, Thursday, Saurday
 
yes, 4 x 100mgs per injections = 400mgs.

The whole 350mgs EW thing sounded a little too meh for me.



lol........i think i might have to check out this pinning schedule i only use my delts and quads how would you recommend me shooting. Monday-left delt---Wednesday-right delt---Thursday-Left quad---Saturday-Right quad.........Repeat. How does that sound.

I only pin shoulders when I'm working out my upper body.

I alwas pin quads / glutes when I'm working out upper / lower body.

I do this because I like to keep the pinning site close to the muscle group I'm working...it will help spread the oil faster and decrease the pain exponentially.
 
you get used to the pain with prop after a while. also, you don't necessarily have to pin EOD or ED to get good results. i'm currently pinning twice a week, sundays and wednesdays. i'm also stacking it with proviron. and the results are waaay better than cyp for me. no water bloat, at all. i have actually had a guy that knows i'm on ask if I were doing winny. and i've gained about 7 or 8 lbs in 6 weeks, gonna go for 2 more weeks then start pct. i'll probably keep at least 6 lbs if not 7, and i've looked good the whole time :)

sure it is. the half life of the ester is 4.5 days. when you break that down as you would for cyp, twice a week is plenty(meaning, the half life of cyp is 12 days, so pinning about every 6 days, or once a week- now take prop whose half life is 4.5 days, twice a week or every 3 days is just fine and should yield better results than cyp simply due to the fact that it has a higher concentration per ml than cyp because of the ester). plus, it is working just like it should for me right now, just ask my workout partner, strength is through the roof, plus i've added the size i wanted to without all the sides. this is proof that you don't need large whopping doses of test to grow. lean gains, without the acne, or water retention, hell, i'll take this any day, plus i'm making better use of the ester. i'm not saying don't pin it ED, or EOD, i'm just saying that the ester allows for twice a week, i'm currently doing it, and it works. i'm just making the most out of it, not that i'm trying to skimp on the t, as i have four or five vials of prop and several of the cyp, i'm just trying to see how much it takes to still get really good gains, have no sides, and still keep everything i gain. and doing it this way, i should keep more, simply because i haven't added a weight that my body can't adjust to. also, i'm in week 6, started seeing results end of week 2, beginning of week 3. and this is the way it should be with good test prop. my cyp that i use i buy at CVS pharmacy, as i'm on hrt now, costs me $5 for a 10 ml vial, how about that shit? so, as i stated before, sure you can, twice a week is plenty, i can go get bloodwork done, as i have before, and my t levels are just as high right now as they would be on cyp pinning once a week.
