Big Ladies Eat Big

growin'

New member
Holy crap, there are some really big ladies where I work , some of them scowl at me when they see me carrying my tuna (I kid you not!). How do they get so big? Well, I saw one of them bring back a 6 pack of LARGE Blizzards from Dairy Queen to split with her co-worker for lunch! Holy cow! That is like 5000 calories each.

Eat big to get big just took on a whole new meaning for me. Just thought I'd share

p0ink-

No, they each had 3. I am guessing that adds up close to 5000kcal. It would have been better if they washed them down with Slim Fast.:D

That much sugar would make me want to gag. They're going to be diabetic as well as obese, if they aren't already.

Just went down to the burrito place at lunch. FAT ass woman in front of me gets the chicken burrito complete with tortilla, rice, cheese, beans and salsa. These are not small burritos either. Might be lowish in fat (since everything is grilled) but watch out for those carbs!!!

Just so you know, I got the steak burrito, 1/2 the rice, double the steak.

I let myself have a blizzard or a like treat from time to time. I figure why work out like I do and live this lifestyle if I can't spurge from time to time. I eat a handful of wheat thins or a piece of pizza and really think I'm being wild with my diet. ;)

What drives me nuts is when I actually eat something like that-- my coworkers jump down my throat and kind of accuse me of being some sort of "dietary sinner". But damn, 3 blizzards for lunch seems a little excessive....

I just drink bottles of olive oil.
goes down smooth and leaves me full for hours.
come out pretty smooth too. usually during deadlifts.

I can recall one of my coworkers for 8 years plus eating, everyday for lunch, one frozen tub of Cool Whip, and one 2 liter of Coke.
Someone asked her about it and she lamented that yeah, she should probably switch to Cool Whip Lite and Diet Coke, but she never did.

always thinkin'

the above should read "one of my mom's coworkers"

there. I'm glad I got that off my chest. and that sports bra I had on.
(and yes, far too lazy to edit the above)

bet they order diet cokes with their big macs, too.

I was thinking the same thing. The women in my office whine and whine that they need to lose weight. They come in once a week with slim fast or other "sugar shakes". I see them with McDonalds for breakfast every morning and ordering pizza at lunch. I simply don't see how they think that drinking diet coke and having a shake once a week will do anything.

To each there own, but everyone I know, hell everyone on this board, know people like this. And yet the public is surprised that obesity is becoming an epidemic. This may be a good thing since I'm considering switching from IT to Personal Training.

What i don't understand is how these people can have an appetite? I usually take 2 months off a year and don't workout at all and i find my appetite suffers compared to when i'm working out. Not only that but how can they not feel guilty eating 3 blizzards? I know many fat people who actually try and lose weight, eat properly and exercise yet their metabolism is so fucked up that they don't lose that much weight. For those people i feel sorry for.

PS: Raina looking good!

A medium Heath Blizzard has 804 Calories.. a slight exageration there at 5000...

Jeezz..

still a lot thoug..

Raina~

I know exactly what you mean-that really bothers me too! :) Although throughout my whole eating disorder I would ALWAYS get diet coke because I did not want to chance the liquid calories from a real coke absorbing. So maybe there is more to it but I guess they would not be so fat-right? :) :) :) :)

I get much business from these folks as a dietician.

They come in and whine about being obese, so I put their head on a chopping block and hack it off with a broadsword.

I have a 100% success rate.

IMO, go for the Reeses® Butter Cup Blizzard®... actually has 19 grams of protien.. and the calories are not in the rediculous category at 380...

Anyone else considering going to DQ now?

No, if those things only have 804 calories I will never achieve the size I am looking for. I think I will go with the bottle of Olive Oil instead.

I SERIOUSLY am considering it because I am pregnant and once I get an idea into my head about wanting something I am not satisfied until I get it!!! :) :) I want the fruit kind though-chocolate is so disgusting to me lately! :) :) :)

if I'm considering a blizzard right now too does that mean I'm pregnant?
I hope not. I don't think I'm ready for that just yet.
maybe next week.

all my life i thought fat people get fat because of there genetics, but just recently i was studying for my calculus final and i was with an overweight girl, and she just kept eating. i guess now i've seen the light, not to generalize, but there has been other occassions too. a certain percentage will have glandular problems, but i would bet its a minority.

Yeah and even if you have a glandular problem go see a friggin doctor. Some people just do not care and do not know how to controll anything in their lives.

Yep - it amazes me - same thing in my office. Also, people are stupid in general and never check out the nutritional info of food - for example a fat ass co-worker of mine has been eating the Arby's "Market Fresh" line of food.. He would eat it with a big hardon explaining how he is much healthier..etc - of course he has to have his curly fries as well. I looked up the nutritional info and told him - "Hey, guess what? Your eating twice the cals & fat of other arby's sandwiches!"

Dumbass...
