Our squat cage has a diamond-plate base, and Chucks are nice and grippy on that surface.

i was usin old skool vans with soles very similar to chucks...i tried my old skool dr. martens yesterday and they felt on squats too.

have a regular pair of chucks. Not even high top, just regular chucks. I only wear them in the gym too. even on the rubber mats sometimes slide on me. gotta keep the bottoms clean
