Alright, heres how it works ladies and gents.

Post what you think is the best movie scene in film history on a youtube video linked. The person who chooses the best one in my opinion will get karma. GO.

Sunshine has to be one of the best movies I have seen in a decade. I am not a big sci-fi fan, this film doesn't have A list actors, but the plot, the performances, the triumph of the human spirit, and the tragedy of life, all of it, is in this movie.

Watch it on a HiDef screen. I am sad I didn't get to see this in the theater.

This clip does not do this scene any justice because of the resolution, but the movie, and this scene, is powerful.

The soundtrack is amazing too. I actually joined iTunes so I could get it and I swore I would never join iTunes.

 
LOL I got made fun of for saying something about that scene. Let thy person that made fun of my ass come out now and once again show ass.

One of the best sci fi movies ever. Probably the closest thing well get to a Rendezvous with Rama. And it wasnt even that close.

The first thing I did after seeing the movie was download the soundtrack as well. I watch it on Blu Ray every now and then. Looks phenominal.

Chris Evans was legit.

Evans did an excellent job it in. I was impressed.

Funny you watched it. When I saw it I said to myself 75th would like this movie.

They make a movie of Rendezvous with Rama? I read Morgan Freeman was going to do it but I guess it got canned.

Sunshine is definitely in my top 10 of all time, if not up near the top.

Nah, they never made it. It was passed from Spielberg to Wolfgang Peterson to (most recently) David Fincher...and yeah, Freeman was attached.

Its just not something that I see translating well to the screen. If they ever were to make it, however, I think Danny Boyle has proven he would have the best shot at getting it right.

My official entry is Blade Runner. If it had crippled Asians jump out and kill Harrison Ford then it definitely would win. Maybe that can happen in the sequel?

The fact that Hugh JAckman didnt even get nominated for an Oscar goes to show what a sham those awards are.

Clint Mansell's music is nothing short of brilliant.

Darren Afronsky was on Bloomberg doing an interview saying that half of the people got the movie, and the other half hated. The people who got it loved it.

The average American has a 7th grade education and movies like this get overlooked says it all.

He also made The Wrestler, for which Mickey Rourke is about to win an Oscar in 3 weeks.

So true. Just goes to prove the guy is a genius.

He also did Pi, which was his first flick, and it cost him around $60,000.

I need to read up what he has under development. I'm not sure whether dropping RoboCop was a good or bad idea. If he could have pulled that off it would have been amazing.
