Best Investment To Make On A Cycle!!!!

Nelson, I agree with many things you say (although many times, dont like the way you say it, creating "controversy" just for the sake of getting hits, attention, and book sales ...)

However in this instance, I have to disgree with you. Swolecat really has nailed down a lot of concepts into a system which is easy-to-follow and effective, and a big part of it IS the timing of macronutrients.

Once you see it, if if you understand how this all works, then it really does make sense as to how it all fits together.

By the way - for those of you who may balk at paying for a diet program, you are NOT just paying for a diet program, you are paying for Swole's CONSULTATION as well.

This has made his clients extremely supportive and thankful and says a LOT about the kind of guy he is.

Nelson - please, dont be condescending about Swole's reference to a brotherhood, or his allegiance to people. He has chosen to have a very positive and supportive relationship with his customers, and as you can see, they appreciate this, and him, and his RESULTS.

I know that the whole basis of your "edge" with your "approach" to your writing, is to be "contrarian" by "exposing the truth". Ok, fine. That works, and that works for ad copy. However your choice to treat people, like potential customers, in that manner is a mistake and that's why you see the difference in loyalty here Nelson.

Its a shame,. I think you have a lot of good to offer, Maybe you should sit back and notice the reponse that Swolecat gets from customers - dudes come out of the woodwork to back this guy.

I'm one of those dudes. I agree that nelson is a guru on alot of shit but nobody can touch swole on dieting. Swole is spot on with diet and training to get you where you want to be and he doesn't quit on you till you get to where you want to be. Swole is speading solid techniques that are soundly based and more importantly WORK. Anybody can talk trash about what works and what doesn't but swole's 3% pics tell it all.

timing has nothing to do with it.
I actually thought you knew better than this.

So it's okay for me to eat all my carbs for the day in the evening? along with the 50 grams of fat? And all my 250gr protein in the morning?

It's basic knowledge that you spread out your meals, try to divid your total protein intake thruout the day. Eat your carbs near after/before your workout and don't mix the carbs with "to much" fat.

I am no expert on dieting, but I have heard nothing but praise for SC and his diet plan. I respect Nelson and his techniques as well, because they have benefitted me personally. I can't say who's right or who's wrong, but I think it is a combination of both. There may be something behind macro timing...just because there isn't scientific evidence, doesn't mean it doesn't work. You can probably find scientific evidence that 3 week cycles work and also find evidence that it doesn't work, but that may not keep Nelson from believing in them as safer alternatives. It also probably has something to do with the fact that people are more disciplined simply because the fact that they payed for a diet plan. It always seems easier to go run a mile after buying a new pair of shoes. It also may be that the support of SC during this diet helps to push and encourage people to try harder, and that is a testament to SC. Is it some magic diet...probably not, but if it helps people and seems to work, then I'm all for it.

hahha......

*Big Exhale* (after laughter amongst friends)

All I can do is throw my hands up Nelson......But alas, I'm glad you don't "hate" me. Like that makes or breaks my day.

Bashing me, T-Mag, supporters, etc...........By the way, I'm in there again today, check mid-day for a great article called "7 Days To ShrinkWrap". U know, so u can read the "scam artist" magazine as you called them............

"I should know"........oh really, do you identify w/them or something? LOL..........

I suppose all personal trainers and nutritionists should never be allowed to work and be out of a job huh?

These are the kind of people that talk all day long until they dehydrate themselves, but they'll never post pictures. Yes, there is a certain "brotherhood" amongst those I work with, and they have the same goals/aspirations I once had, and some that I still do, and we support each other and work together to make it all happen. Hell, how else can you get 1 MILLION hits to your site in 16 days? Yes, it happened because these "brothers" far outnumber the negative, bashing oriented step-children.

So, I suppose you think Mr. X and his help/theories/practices hold no water and aren't credible either? Wait, don't answer that, we've gotta shovel the initial load of shit out of here first.

As far as offense/defense.......well, I'll play whatever position I need to play bruh, you can remain on the sidelines and just watch.

Size 11, nice huh..........

SC,

Just ignore Nelson (if possible). I know it's hard for most of the shit that comes out his mouth and then filters through his fingertips to the keyboard and then to the Internet is pure garbage and is nothing more than his unfounded opinion. Nelson is a waste of air. That's right, air! And he hates success stories since he's a struggling author that spends most of his time criticizing the work of others and pushing his lame ass book on AAS message boards, which is nothing more than a compilation of his opinions.

His comments on this thread illustrate one thing: Nelson is so stupid he doesn't realize how stupid he is. To minimize the role of an effective diet plan while on a cycle just goes to show how little he really knows about bodybuilding since diet can be attributed to at least 75% of gains made. Why someone would spend $40 on his book when he has once again proven his ignorance is beyond me.

The more I think about it, all of Nelson's posts are either

a) A thread starting post the exudes drama and blindly throws some well-known tactic into the dumper or hypes one of his tactics

or

b) A response to a thread that poo-poos whatever idea the thread starter is espousing.

Has Nelson EVER responded to a thread with full support of the idea behind it? What I am asking is, is Nelson capable of publicly supporting any idea that is not his own?

I think you guys are being a little hard on Nelson. He has helped a lot of people. I have heard nothing but good reviews of his books and bought the second one myself...good read. You don't have to agree with Nelson, but that doesn't make him a bad person. He comes off the wrong way at times to some, but that doesn't make him an idiot. Also, it is well-documented why Nelson dislikes T-mag.

Um..no, but I was their head writer for 2 years. I'd say I know them pretty well.

Frst off, let me address those who say I took a condesending tone. Check the posts. All I said is thatI disagreed with the premise, yet, it was SC who first used the words "idiots" to describe people who disagreed with him. Am I wrong here? If so, please explain.

Next: The fact that nutrient timing is insignificant does not mean you can eat whatever you want, whenever you want. That should be obvious but some people can't seem to grasp that concept.

I also don't doubt that SC looks good. Ronnie Coleman looks better, so why not follow his diet advice?

SC isn't the first person to ever sell a diet plan that showed results. There's been thousands. And what happens? A year later, the failures outweigh the successes and everyone moves on, looking for the next miracle cure.

There are no magic diets. I've been in this field for over 30 years and I've seen them all. I've seen them come and I've seen them go and every time, the only diet that works is one that has a sensible balance of macro and micro nutrients and the proper amount of calories for your goals. The end. Good night. So long. Au revior. Lights out. There's nothing else to say, no how, no way. End of story.

I seriously doubt SC has managed to re-write the laws of bio-chemistry and figured out a way of manipulating 3 macro nutrients in a way NO ONE ELSE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD has yet to comprehend.

Bottom line: If you want to buy his program and it works for you, great. SC gets to do a little business. Everybody's happy. But MY job is lay things out in a "Bottom Line" fashion and what I'm saying here is for the edification of EF members. Take it leave it. I make no money on whether anyone takes my advice or not. And it doesn't affect me if SC sells five books or five million.

Ultimately, it's up to each individual member to assess the information and decide for themselves what will benifit them the most.
